Now this isn't an epic war film. This is no Saving Private Ryan. But that's what you get for making a ww2 film. War films have a lot of expectation due to the many wars films that came out. But this an honest attempt for a novice filmmaker. I think if it was re-cut it could have been slightly better. The acting is okay, but it's a student film so I guess that comes along with it. The music was decent, nothing great, nothing bad. The first scene though, with all the Germans and trucks was well made. That was the best part of the film, the pacing of it. Then it went slightly down hill. But the last shot of the film, which I won't reveal, sort of makes up for it all. Once again, a good and honest attempt by a novice filmmaker picking a rather hard subject matter and genre as his first film.
