Plot was all over the place, more so than usual, most annoying was the sound of screeching birds, absolutely constant through out, no variation in pitch, volume or species. I am so fond of the Inspector Morse stories, but don't understand, and totally put off by the annoying, supercilious "side stories". The total idiocy of the "tree spikes"(keep in mind, I am commenting on this point as an "American tree hugger" is beyond, no other way to put it, IDIOTIC! The sheer number and size of the spikes in combination with them never actually being used in their "therapeutic use" made them absurd. The actress playing "American, Patti" whether she was Yank or not, was just too over the top.
Something's Gotta Give (2003)
Had SUCH potential, and a budget to boot! Never understood how Keaton or Allen have made it, as both are SSSOOOOOO devoid of talent, ALL of little perv woody's "movies" are the same idiotic story of attractive fem falling for grotesque little troll. Nicholson side of story is sadly realistic, (well to do grotesque old fart screws only fems young enough to be his little girl), mirrors his own life really. Thank goodness for characters of Marin, Zoe & Dave, all should have been bigger! And wow, who in Heaven could believe kenu could act, NOT ME, but I was actually impressed, and despite that, who for even a heart beat would believe , young, attractive doctor being HOT FOR GRANDMA!?!? GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dirk Gently (2010)
c'est quoi ce bordel
Obviously no one in the writing staff, director, production staff, have ever read the BOOK. Should be capital punishment, allowing such rubbish, BBC isn't what it used to be, sadly more like whomever gave the Chin his show back. Not that the actors are bad, I quite liked Mangan in Hyperdrive and Boyd in Saxondale. Just that I've been very fond of D.A.'s stories, since I was an atypical awkward teen, and particularly keen on the well written, incredibly imaginative Dirk Gently stories. Supposedly my review is not yet long enough. Schrodinger's cat is a famous illustration of the principle in quantum theory of superposition, proposed by Erwin Schrodinger in 1935.
