Shining through

I'd have to say, that this movie was in general...not good. It could be because I don't like Michael Douglas...and I dislike Melanie Griffith but I think it is because in reality the movie fails to meet a lot of objectives. There are plenty of moments in the movie which are supposed to be romantic, or suspenseful, that just fall flat. I just think in general it's hard to believe anything Melanie Griffith says or does. The only good part of the movie was the end, where the audience actually gets some sort of action to back up these character's facades. Liam Neeson, however, was electric as usual, he really saves this movie. The moment he appeared on the screen, I had to see what happened. But it's sad, when Melanie Griffith's character has more chemistry with a character she's supposed to fear. Still, If you're bored on a Sunday morning, this is a movie to watch.
