Hackneyed, uber-melodramatic, and filmed with a piece of red cellophane over the lens for at least the first episode, this series makes you ask the existential question: "is there ANYTHING so awful that some streaming service, somewhere won't offer it?". The first 15 minutes are used as a time filler, as each of the five characters are asked the same question in the same way by the same unseen emcee. All could have been asked simultaneously, but then the writers would have had to come up with 14 additional minutes of material. Repetitive to the point of torture and imbued with a heavy-handed sense of unearned importance, I wish the writers had expended at least a quarter of the effort in the show as they did in their bogus reviews. If I had used the phrase 'I wish I could have given it less than a one star', in my review, I would have still been twice as original as this slop.

C'mon guys

Seriously, how hard is it to make a sexploitation movie? Show a few boobs, some half decent dialogue, a female cast that's even a tad appealing? Nope - they couldn't do it. I know I could do better with my iphone. They don't even try to make a plot that proceeds in chronological order. Don't believe those ratings, folks. You know it's cast, family, and friends putting it out there. There was ONE funny scene, where the heroine finds a note from her mother telling her to drink the flask enclosed for superpowers. As our girl reads further while drinking said potion, she's told NOT to drink from the other flask - is highly toxic. Save your time.

When the highlight of the first two episodes is....

The character of Tommy Lee having an extended conversation with his penis? You might be 'stretching' the material out too far. However, Lily James looks remarkably like Pamela Anderson in her day. I'm not too excited about what I've seen so far, but I'll still give it a chance.

I watched it for the LULZ

I watched it for the LULZ I watched it for the LULZ I watched it for the LULZ.

I was hoping that Smiley would appear behind the cast members when I typed this. Unfortunately, I was as disappointed in that as I was in this movie. Honestly, I've never seen such an assorted unappealing motley of characters since the bar scene in Star Wars. The actors were so unpolished that I thought that the reel was out of sync with the sound. The Smiley character seemed as if were made from the top of a bald man's head with magic marker stenciled on. The only appealing character in the whole movie was the babysitter who was polished off at the beginning. This movie is destined to appear in the Netflix section under "if you enjoyed "Spike" you might like this. Steer clear. I know you want to see it anyway… but seriously, run.
