The Critic (1994–2001)
One of the best animations
23 July 2004
I agree.. how could they cancel this one. I think the main reason was that too many of the jokes went over too many peoples' heads. Whether it was that 'subtle' New York sarcasm or the insulting of actors and actresses and everybody in showbiz, it seems that this one remains one of the cult classics of a few real comedy fans.

Thanks goodness it's out on DVD, all 23 episodes, watching them could actually teach you a few little known facts about Hollywood's elite and not-so-elite, all in all this cartoon is right up there with the Simpsons (crossover producers and voices) and the Family Guy, another great animation cut short in its prime.

Classic film with a little cheese on the side
23 July 2004
One of the great films of the 20th century, yeah it gets a bit cheesy at times, but that's the point. This entire collection of Indiana Jones flicks is so entertaining and never seems to get old.

My favorite scene is near the end when Indy threatens to blow up the Ark with a rocket launcher, and during Belloq's speech a fly actually lands on his cheek, crawls onto his lip and either goes into his mouth or is sucked in deliberately by the actor. It just shows great focus on the craft and probably a need to get the scene finished under the hot Tunisian sun.

I cannot wait for IJ4 and am curious to know what the plot will be as well as who Indy's new flame is...

Very hard-hitting documentary

If you want to know what is really going in the Middle East, particularly Israel and the disputed territories, check out this film. The clips from Palestinian TV programs are unbelievable, these people are training their children to carry out actions against the Jewish people that is reminiscent of the Nazi regime. Muslim leaders ask their followers to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Jewish people.

What has happened to the morals of the Islamic world, Could you imagine if church ministers or rabbis did things as disgusting as this? The world would be up in arms, but in the Islamic world it seems perfectly acceptable.

Rent or buy Relentless and see the true nature of terrorism.
