The Great and Very Good Comic Book Films (And aside from the top ones, this isn't in any particular order)
There are plenty of comic book and sci-fi films you can certainly live without. These however are the must sees (in no particular order). This list does not include animated films, as that's its own category.
My list of sci-fi and other fictional shows on my Netflix queue
These are my favorite war films, in no particular order.
I'm a Freshman at NCSU, and these are the movies we watched in my Intro to Film course this semester.
I'd actually prefer a live action T.V. series instead of another movie franchise for the Dark Knight. Regardless, here are my picks.

These are people that don't have a clue how to make a good movie, yet still try
Between superhero blockbusters and critically acclaimed dramas, 2012 has been and continues to be a monumental year for movies. I thought I'd list off the most significant, in no particular order.
Aside from the top ten, this isn't in any particular order.
My picks for the biggest DC film of all time
Note: I would prefer the only heroes featured in the first film be Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Hawkgirl. However, I picked a few others for sequels. I also think Darkseid should be the only villain in the first, but I picked a few more as well as some C.A.D.M.U.S. characters.
These are some of my favorite actors who have come to heavily influence me. While some started their careers prior to 2000, they're known for their work over the last decade.
Since George Lucas revealed the news about his stepping down and the Disney/Lucasfilm alliance, I knew right away the most important factor of Episodes 7, 8, and 9 being successful would be determining who to take up Lucas' mantle. These are my top picks, in no particular order.
I just had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Paolini, the author of the popular Inheritance Cycle. After the pathetic film adaptation of Eragon, I thought I'd share my picks for who should do what in a remake.
These are mainly sequels that have nearly killed these franchises
DC's legendary team of superheroes would be done justice if left in the hands of these guys
Note: For trilogies that have two great sequels (i.e. LOTR), I picked the best of the two.
These are the best, most iconic vigilantes in film
Some of the best films Eastwood has directed, starred in, or both
These musicians have made the greatest movie soundtracks of all time
Film's most iconic evildoers
These are some of the most suspenseful and breathtaking films of the last decade. Again, I left out science fiction and superhero films as I have separate categories for those. These ones are more along the lines of mystery and spy thrillers.
The best gangster films of all time
Note: This does not include superhero and sci-fi films (with the exception of Terminator as it's more closely associated with action than sci-fi), as I have separate lists for films within those genres. I also left out westerns, since that too is a category in it of itself.
These are my favorite movies and TV shows that the brilliant minds of DC Animation have produced over the last two decades
These are some of the most compelling, character-driven films of the last two decades
Everyone knows Gone With the Wind and To Kill a Mockingbird, but here are a few overlooked classics that are some of the best films ever made.
Some of the worst Blockbusters ever made
The Spielbergs and Scorseses of the 21st Century
The top 5 works of the legendary filmmaker
Some of the 21st Century's most influential films
