Warrior Nun (2020–2022)

Had potential but couldn't live up to it

The idea was really good, and it started out pretty bad ass (like 1st half episode). However, this is like a teen drama, 10 episodes to get to NOwhere. I did watch the full thing since i was hoping for it to improve, but it was literally all over the place. 10 stories trying to intermix. The protagonist is totally disappointing, she only acts as comedy relief, no other real talents (as far as her character is concerned). Her "character development" spans 10 episodes and is literally non-existant. it kind of reminded me of a really bad copy of Shadowhunters (which is for sure far superior).

Hanna (2019–2021)

Boring and slow

I haven't seen the original movie so no comparisons there. However, this series is extremely boring. Nothing happens during most of the episode. It is mostly a teenage drama, with kids partying, disrespecting adults and "having fun". The pilot was a bit more promising but the rest of the series failed to deliver.

Mystery Girls (2014)

This was hands down the worst pilot i have ever seen. I had read the comments but saw it anyway thinking "come on it couldn't be THAT bad".. it was even worse.... So first of all.. TERRIBLE terrible terrible writing. Not just terrible writing, but a terrible IDEA too!! They could have the best actors saying those lines and they still would sound awful. So i am not even sure it is fair to judge the rest, but i will since they agreed to participate in what can only turn out as to be THE career wrecking series.. The acting itself was terrible. Disappointed and there was no chemistry at all between the 2 leading actresses. Oh and did i mention there was nothing interesting going on ? too bad...

Young & Hungry (2014–2018)

This seems to be a very nice comedy... i have seen a couple of episodes, they are fun, they are original, it does remind me of some older comedies, but at the same time it is quite refreshing. The acting and directing is good, the writing is nice, the budget is obviously seriously low but however they managed to create something really cute! will be watching for sure ! just hoped they would make these comedy shows last a bit longer than twenty two minutes.. Why do we only get 22 minutes of laughter and always 45 minutes of drama drama drama.. This is frustrating..! Anyway, as I was saying, if you are looking for a nice new comedy series for summer, you should totally check this one out.

Black Box (2014)

misleading..

So i just gave it a 2 of 10, just for the sake of the people who are putting some effort in all this, but this show is at least offensive. It is supposed to be some every day drama show (?), figuring a bipolar neurologist / psychiatrist (??) but it more like a fantasy film. It has NOTHING, and i mean NOTHING to do with reality. Nobody in that film is portrayed accurately! Not the bipolar star, not her coworkers, not her family.. it is all so so wrong it hurts to watch. The next thing you know, we will be having young children actually WANTING to be bipolar! And of course it is ridiculous how all the mood swings come and go during the day just like that. A bipolar person needs nearly months to go from one "phase" to the other, and psychiatric drugs do not work like paracetamol... in half an hour..! I think this show is border-line dangerous.. don't know..
