Funny and charming
My school is doing a play production of this film, and I must say, it is simply marvelous---one of the best films of the '70s! The singing was great, and the dance moves were funny and a little difficult to practice doing. I have to admit, I had a TINY crush on John Travolta during the film, and I still find myself very attracted to him. He and Olivia Newton-John have perfect chemistry, and I'm so glad that they ended up together. This film teaches a lesson that, if you really love someone, you should be willing to sacrifice everything for them. And I am a huge believer of true love. For those of you who dislike this film, you have no idea about what you're missing out on. This film is a success, and it is all thanks to John Travolta, along with his superhuman skills and his incredibly good looks. ;)
The Brady Bunch (1969)
First off, I must say, the Brady kids are very adorable. My favorite characters are Marcia and Greg---Marcia because she and I are both typical teenage girls, obsessed with boys and all that, and we both share the same birth date! (No joke) I also like Greg because he's just so cute and charismatic in that way.
Also, this show and Full House are pretty much similar. Whenever I watch FH, I automatically think of this show. The Tanner girls and the Brady girls are very pretty and in a way, they're kind of similar. D.J. and Marcia are boy-crazy, Stephanie and Jan are the whiny middle children, and as for Cindy and Michelle---Cindy is a bit more sophisticated and mature when she needs to be, and Michelle could easily literally get away with murder. As well as Full House, the Brady Bunch will live on forever.
Mork & Mindy (1978)
Now THIS is what I call a sitcom!
Although I'm not really a 70's kid, I still appreciate TV shows/movies from back then as well as today's entertainment. I really love this show, and guess what? I have never seen it before in my entire life! First of all, you have Robin Williams, one of the best and most talented actors in all of Hollywood. No one---absolutely no other living soul---could ever outsmart him in playing the role of an eccentric alien from an unknown planet with a silly name such as "Ork." Robin is just very good at what he does best. Some of you may think otherwise, but he definitely is one of the greatest comedic actors of his time. Secondly, you have the lovely and charismatic Pam Dawber, on whom I'm not afraid to admit I have a small girl crush. She's just so pretty and her voice is totally gorgeous, and I think she and Robin have perfect chemistry with each other on the show. Once you watch this show, I'm pretty sure you'll love it. You may not like Robin Williams, but I'm just putting this out there for ya'll---he's just very great at what he does best.
Furious 6 (2013)
Awesome with a charismatic sense of humor!
Never have I seen an action-adventure film with a little bit of some comedy here and there. This film was just perfect in that sense. The cast was remarkable and pretty amazing, especially Dwayne Johnson, otherwise known as "The Rock." Dwayne Johnson is a pretty decent actor in general, so I'm not surprised to hear that this film is one of his best works. Keep it up, Dwayne! You've kept me enthralled all throughout this film.
I know everyone has a different preference of movies that they like, but I don't understand who in the world would ever hate on such a perfect movie like this. Sure, not every movie that comes out these days are the best, but I think people need to learn to stop judging a movie if they've seen it for ten or twenty minutes and then proclaim it to be "awful." That's just stupid; you have to actually watch the entire film first to know whether if you like it or not. Believe me, I went to the movie theater and watched this film from the very beginning to the very end. It has some hilariously stupid lines, which is what makes it funny, something that will keep you captivated from all the action and adventure going on in it. Just watch this film, people. For all the males out there, I'm pretty sure you'll find Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez to be "hot." ;)
Just beautiful and very captivating!
As a believer of true love, I'd say you gotta give this film some credit. The acting and singing were great, and Amy Adams' performance was superb! Princess Giselle is a combination of all Disney princesses, with the exception that she is a hopeless romantic. And not surprisingly, so am I. This movie is filled with interesting characters with unnaturally funny lines. There's the sweet, beautiful princess Giselle, her handsome prince Edward, the average but kindhearted man Robert and his daughter Morgan, the wicked queen and many others. This film is a charming combination of humor, music, romance, and fantasy, which is filled with a type of charisma that makes it unique from all the other movies/romance movies of this century. I recommend that you watch it and learn one thing from it: There is no such thing as an "happily ever after." Always let love find you at the right place and at the right time.
