Sicilian Vampire (2015)
I had the misfortune of seeing this film when I was in California last month attending the Action On Film Festival. The plot, editing, music and overall look of this movie were terrible. I realize not every film- maker has an unlimited budget but this was limited in every way possible. I do wonder if it was filmed with an iPhone or if the DP was visually impaired. The 'star' Frank D'Angelo (who is also credited on almost every other role from writer, director, soundtrack etc.), sadly is none of those things. He seems to have a knack of hiring actors whose stars have faded and do not care if being in this film extinguishes their flame for good. In a nutshell, the film is just bad. Not 'so bad it's good bad' but just plain bad. Those of us in attendance at the screening kept trying to muffle our laughter as this Mafia don is attacked by a vampire bat that had snuck it's way into a banana crate. I would suggest you save yourself the misery we endured and steer well clear of this mess.
La Trattoria Sitcom (2015)
Worst thing ever filmed and broadcast
I had the misfortune of seeing this production and all I can say is, any positive review on here will be fake. The acting, camera work, non- stop laugh track etc were all hideous. Anyone involved should be ashamed of themselves, especially seeing real actors taking part. How and why Doris Roberts and Robert Loggia ever agreed to sully their names and legacy with garbage like this is a total mystery. One can only assume that they had no idea what they were signing up for and they were told it would be a professional production. It looks as though it was filmed through the bottom of a dirty glass. If there is a hell, this is what they show 24/7.
