One of The Worst Movies I Have Ever Seen
I am a Christian and I did not come into this movie with high hopes. I still thought that I would give it a chance because I figured that even if it wasn't biblically correct, that it would still be a decent movie nevertheless. This was not the case of this movie. It's pacing is awful, considering the family was safe on the ark at about 85 minutes. After they were on the ark, I gave up on the film due to sheer disappointment and boredom. Secondly, the only resonance to the bible is the people, the ark, and the flood. Also the entire concept of the "stonemen" was ludicrous. The last complaint that I will say is that right after Methuselah officially accepted Ila as his great-granddaughter, she goes off to commit incest with her brother (She is basically adopted.) The only good part of the film is that the performances are decent, and the effects are adequate.
