(Despite the username, I'm not a boy. I'm a girl.)
Quirky dramas (like Thumbsucker and Almost famous),
Psychological horror (Secret window and The Others)
Brainless comedies (Eurotrip and Dude, where's my car)
Not so brainless comedies (Dogma, Bruce Almighty)
and silly tv series(Greek and the original Beverly Hills)
Oh, and I read Harry Potter.
Gorey, bloody horror (like Candyman),
Poorly written lines (Spiderman)
Action for the sake of it (Rambo)
And that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Lola rennt (1998)
When judging whether a movie is worth seeing or not, I go a lot on how I felt during and after watching it. So for me, this is what makes Lola rennt worth seeing: the instant energy-boost it gives you! I just felt I wanted to run like her... The extraordinary formate of the movie also makes it special - animations, dividing the screen in two... And with the alternative endings, it is like no other film I've seen. Cool might be the word for it. This is the rare kind of film where the dialogue is actually less important - what really matters, and what you remember afterwards, is the feeling. If possible, watch an undubbed version- I promise, you'll get it anyway.
