Don't bother with it. Fiona shaw is so bad in this and this season is just bad. Something is missing and it's lost it's way.

Cynthia and the story of Aretha had me sold but try as I might this is boring so so boring. Not even the pull of Cynthias acting and voice could keep me watching.

Could of been so good but it just ended up being very obvious and typical.

If it had of been just a little smarter it would of worked.

Maybe it's cos the first season is now a little dated in 2021 but the acting in this is awful, the plot, the situation everything is just horrid

Season 1 was fine.. started of decent but just a bit basic. Second season was just a mess. It's like the story and the plot changed every episode and the final episode left more questions and a really dumb ending. More itv basic rubbish

Veneno (2020)

Absolutely everything you could ask for. It's funny, clever, sad, gorgeous, captivating and REAL. Absolutely everything about this is perfect. The actors, the directors, the sets, costumes. It feels so authentic that you get sucked into the scenes like your there with them. This deserves absolutely every award it's nominated for.

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020)

Incredible cast but that's it. It was a play and this just seems like they didn't do much to change it. If you expecting the story of Ma Rainey you won't get it - more just a snap shot of one incident. The sound and voice when viola lip synced was not great and just didn't match. Maybe I had too high expectations because of the cast and director. There were so good moments and it's a snap shot of time and history that ultimately hasn't really moved on a lot. But this as a film - meh

Unpregnant (2020)

Funny, smart, epic soundtrack and a subject that is needed to be talked about and normalised. Great performance from both actresses
