Great Acting...but, 24 January 2008
A collection of some of the great actors of the time doing a lot more
than phoning in their performances.
The women's costumes are, in general, not from the correct period
(balloon like collar of the sleeves, high neck lines etc. This was set
in the period after the Battle of Waterloo, and "empire" fashion was
Watch any of the Jane Austin series from the BBC that were produced in
2007 and you'll see the stark difference. The Brits are spot on, don't

It's a shame it couldn't have been filmed on location in England.
