We all have to start somewhere. This is list of the first films of now famous and renowned directors...and boy did they make a splash.
This list has been a long time coming. I could never be able to do a top 5, 10 or even 20, so I just decided to put them ALL on here.
There are two ways a sequel can be made. The right way, in which the makers of the film make a story that is not only so much better than the first story, it is good enough to stand alone as it's own story. The wrong way: to just pull a story out of your ass cause the first film made boat loads of moola. Here is a list of the first films in a franchise that should have just been the ONLY films.
In my humble opinion, disasters films are very tricky to pull off. Some can be very exciting and heart wrenching, others can be incredibly silly and down right insulting to our intelligence. The higher up on the list these films are, the better they have faired.
In my opinion, and I don't think I am alone, 'Die Hard' is one of the greatest action movies ever made. So what does Hollywood do when they discover a new type of storytelling? Why beat it like a dead horse, of course. Here are the films that bare a striking resemblance to one of cinema's all time best actioner.
The title pretty much says it all.
It is no secret that Hollywood has always favored the good looking, well built gentlemen when it comes to leading men. This list is dedicated to the guys who have big waist lines but they have even bigger talents.
When it comes to action films, everybody prefers different things. Some like explosions, others prefer car chases. Though those things are all well and good, but for me it's always been about GUNS, GUNS, GUUUUNNNSS!!!
I have always said the greatest special effect in film has been and will always be music. Music just makes what we are watching more thrilling and emotional. Here is my Top 10 list of the men who make the movies we all love all the more grander.
You will notice in the title that I have said "weakest" instead of "worst" because I truly believe that there are no really bad Bond films. They are all pretty watchable, but there are many that just couldn't hit the mark.
Acting and directing are two entirely different beasts. Each job requires a great level of focus and they both have their own set of difficulties. So to do both at the same time is, without a doubt, an incredibly hard undertaking. Here are the men who not only make it look effortless, but make it look great as well.
