Stats: Female, American.
First off, I am FEMALE.
Second, if I told you I put you on ignore, I.Put.You.On.Ignore.
Third, I don't mince words and I don't sugar coat. It's not my nature.
Fourth, don't ask for my personal sites or my email. You're not getting them unless I offer them to you.
I love: music, poetry, history, politics, philosophy, geography, theater, and languages. I am semi-fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian. I am liberal-minded and do not like conformity or narrow minded, hateful people. And I despise people who try to twist your words to try to make a point they never had in the first place. And I especially hate people who get pissed off when I speak a language they cannot understand. It's not my fault they don't know other languages! I also hate when people try to covert me to their religion.
I generally try to be as nice as possible to people but lately there are just too many idiots who want to start crap. If you wanna debate with me, I'll take you on but, if all you wanna do is argue and be contrary or throw insults, Go.To.Hell because you aren't worth my time. My motto for this board: "Opinions are like *ssholes, everyone has one." I respect your opinions so respect mine or your sorry ass will go on ignore.
I have a eclectic taste in music, film and TV. I have everything from Aerosmith, Elvis, Britney Spears, Thalia, Mariah Carey and Bing Crosby in my CD collection. (Yes, I said Britney too, so kiss my ass!) I also listen to many foreign artists: CoCo Lee, Anggun, Eros Ramazzotti, Alejandro Sanz. I favor Latin, Pop, and R&B music. I also love Celtic, Asian (especially Traditional Chinese), and Arabic music. Some Country is OK. I despise Classical and Disco. I prefer 80's music.
I'm a huge fan of Mariah Carey and Tina Arena, even though I dislike most of the other "diva/belter " singers.
I don't think the best singer is the one who can scream the loudest. IMO, the best singer is the one who can interpret the song with conviction and feeling. And I think the current crop of "diva" singers could take a few lessons from the old school divas because IMO, the current crop of divas do nothing more than scream their ever loving heads off.
I don't think most "dance" artists have the best voices, (most sound electronicized anyway) but the music is generally the best thing about those type of songs. However, I'm not a big fan of house/club/trip/trance/whateverthehell music because to me, it all sounds repetitive. And yes, I cannot stand The Beatles. Live with it!

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001)
This the best L&O!
I've been watching this series since it debuted a few years ago.
I was curious about this show, wondering if it could match SVU. I had expected very little from a third spin off, but with Criminal Intent, three's the charm! I was immediately drawn in by Vincent D'Onofrio's Goren character, and the sarcastic Eames is the cream on the pie! These two have good chemistry together; he provides the quirks, she provides the balance. I like how Criminal Intent makes you think as you are watching it; you cannot just sit back and zone out. The stories do not lead you; they jerk you around and keep you interested. The storytelling is quick and precise, so that if you look away for even just a moment, you will miss something! I am also a die-hard SVU viewer but, with his amazing unpredictability and quirkiness, D'Onofrio gives Criminal Intent its edge.
