Complete Entertainer

This is an open secret that Salman's movies are far above to critics and his fan never bother to refer any review. People just love him and wait for his movies. This time Salman bang the BOLLYWOOD with KICK. Almost 7th month passed and there wasn't a Blockbuster and with Kick here it is. Shania (Jacqueline Fernandez) parents ask him to see Himanshu (Randeep Hooda) and during train journey Shania narrate about Devi Laal (Salman Khan)who is free soul man who always search fun and ready to help and how he left her because of her insulting behavior. On the other hand Himanshu is chasing a thief Devil. The Story has many twist and angles and full of drama. It has fun, music, action and also has some social message. This is Sajid's debut as Director whereas he has a stature as Producer. Go for Kick for Salman, for Jacquline, for music and entertainment. A joy ride for cine-goer.

Sahir the clown, Shair the Magician, Sahir the thief but above all Sahir the entertainer. No doubt it is the best movie of 2013 in term of entertainment value. The story is simple. The cop & thief as in the earlier installments. The execution, the chase and the Aliya. Aamir as usual superb, Abhishek is used to with this role and Uday Chopra (Ali) is the Grey area. In all cast the Bike is also play an important role. Watch it for chase, watch it for glamor and watch it because it is Amir Khan's movie. The canvas is very big, sound, music, camera-work and graphics are par high as compare to other Bellwood movie.

Almost a year back I saw its teaser and since I was anxiously waiting for this because of Shaan. I am a die hard fan of Shaan and saw almost all noticeable movies from Ghonghat to Zill e Shah. This heavy budget film is being praised by those who normally doesn't like to watch Pakistani Movies and most of them criticize without even watching a single movie. Each time a movie claim better than Bollyood get a huge response and the same is in the case of Waar (attack). Film is much better in term of Production quality but where is plot. A country facing terrorism since decade but in the movie producer tries to cover many thing and sum up nothing. I watch movies for entertainment, film should make you laugh, make you cry, touch your heart and keep you involve with "what next" and unfortunately the film lack all these. For anti India "Tere Pyar Me" much better, for patriotism I refer "Commando" both are featuring Shaan. Few individual scene was very good but the attack on Police Academy was poorly manage and the cops died in similar fashion as in an Gandasa Mark movies. Shaan acting in Sangam, Ghongat, Khilona, Tere Pyar Mein was much better. On the whole perhaps it is a success full movie I still believe that people from TV can not make Movies. I heard that RGV praised it and even claim Bilal Lashari better than Shoaib Mansoor but in my personal opinion Syed Noor is far better than these and even better than many Bellwood well known director. Since Shaan is an establish Hero and only Hero in Pakistan there is no doubt on his talent, Shamoon Abbasi is the best aspect of movie.

The most terrible thing I went for a Pakistani movie but 90% of the movie was in English. However, thank God our elite is now discussing Shaan congrats to Shaan who never get what actually he deserve.

Hritik and Sanjay impossible to decide who is BETTER actor

This is a remake of and old (i don't wanna use this word as i still love that movie) made by Mukal Anand the best ever technician of film making. I was anxiously waiting for this remake to see and feel. Earlier to this SRK did DON (a remake of amitabh movie too). It is a dilemma that whenever people watch a remake they keenly compare the newer version with previous one and since this is not a remake of very old movie and most of the youth of that time is now in their 30s and 40s the same will be happened with this version. Come to the movie. Agnipath was a masterpiece and a trend setting movie. This was the first movie in which personal life of Don were portrayed. The underworld connection with Filmstars etc. Most of the people know the story how Kancha invade in Mandwa and killed the father of Vijay. Vijay moved to Mumbai and there Lala brought him up and vijay turned to a young man with anger in his heart regarding kancha and wish to get back his village.

Perhaps it is a remake but it is more refreshing then several movies release off late. Director Karan Malhotra did every possible effort to give it a new look and get rid the impact of previous version as Vijay (Hritik) and Kancha (Sanjay). 2 Hours and 50 minutes of breathless action and thrill is guaranteed with drama, suspense and songs. It is a complete film package for all type of audience. If you love to see the competition between Vijay and Kancha you will also mesmerize with the hot item number by Katreena Chikni Chameli. Many people will thought that whether Hritik get success to replayed the role of Sr. Bachan and i assure them he did it on par. But the main thing is the role of Kancha Sanjay Dat is ruthless in this avtar.

This will surely be a huge blockbuster

Players (2012)

Yet again a fantastic thriller from Mastans

Bollywood end 2011 with an action packed thriller Don 2 and start the year with another action thriller. Player is a typical Abbas Mastan style movie, action, suspense, drama and glamor. When I first heard about that movie I learned that it is inspired by an Hollywood movie Italian Job fortunately i didn't watch that hence everything for me is fresh. It is a plot about a Train Robbery with 1000 Crore Gold. The whole portion of robbery is breathless and very well justify and you hardly find any flaw. A perfect plan with great execution. However Director forget to justify the inclusion of Sikadnar Kher (Bilal) in the team as an explosive expert as there was not a big deal in train robbery but you must keep it in mind that an explosive expert is in team and his presence in the team justified in end. Perhaps they steal the gold but soon after that director start twisting the film. The first half full with a great robbery and the second half is full of suspense. One thing which was missing in Don 2 was humanity and emotion but here these aspect of any good film are also exist as cold blooded murder of Soonam Kapoor's s Father Winod Khanna playing as a mentor of these con people. Abnishek is wonderful, Bobby Deol did great with what was his part but the one who steal the show was Neil Nitin Mukesh the main villain. Audience was mesmerized with the pace of the film it will not give you a dull moment except the one when Sonam Kapoor visited Neil Nitin Mukesh Castle and sing and dance in a very pathetic manner. The only thing which remind you that it is a Bollywood movie. Otherwise the entire production is not bellow of Hollywood Movie. The only aspect the movie lack was music. If you have any plan to go for a movie, player has a better plan.

Don 2 (2011)

With Don 2 Shahrukh back again

Since last few years Shahrukh Khan several movies (Rab ne Banadi Jodi, Billu Barbar, My name is Khan and latest Ra One) did good business but failed to attain the success associated with Shahrukh and since Ra One may started to search for new King for Bollywood but the King Khan back with a Bang. You still remember Bazigar and Darr and here is once again Shahrukh is on the zenith of acting with an arrogant, agile, wicked and wild dare-devil who has the most bizarre schemes up his sleeve Shahrukh proof himself the best.

Don 2 beside Shahrukh is an amazing movie with unforgettable action scene and car chase sequences but the scene of Prison Breaking and robbery of Currency Plate. This action packed package seriously get your attention from the very first scene but the part of Music is relatively below par and there are very few moment of emotion human relation. But Don will force you to visit him again and again.

Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl (2011)

A young movie for all ages

It was an era when Yash Raaj was mastered in Love Troika Films but since Dhoom they are continuously targeting relatively young audience and this is again a movie especially target the youth but has entertainment for all ages. People liked the on-screen chemistry between Anushka & Ranveer and greatly applauded by masses in Band Baja Barat and once again the couple is spontaneous. This is not a classic, this is not a big but a medium size film and have all ingredients to make it entertaining. Songs are great, story is good and the performance are also good but the girl in the role of Dimple (Parineeti Chopra) will inspire you with her innocence. Director Mahish Sharma who was also the director of Band Baja Barat seems still in the trans of her previous hit.

Script is not much powerful but the performance of all five main characters cover this weakness and songs added worth to watch it. You can spare some time to watch it one time and you won't be conned through this con-movie.

The Dirty Picture (2011)

A great movie with DIRTY title

It is very rare when a director justify vulgarity and in that particular movie. Director Milan Luthria crafted it very intelligently. I hope most of the people will go for sex oriented movie but I bet they will go again for a fine movie. The speech of Vidya at Award Ceremony Scene was the peak of the movie and real subject. A female actress dominate in a movie with 03 main heroes with a big name Naseeruddin Shah, popular one Emran Hashmi. Vidya handle all exposing material with a grace and style and i think from that movie she will have her new Identity O Lala. Perhaps this is not the first time which depict the behind the scene of film industry but this time it is really fascinating that there is no casting couch type material and struggle is very correct. Go and watch once on this review and you will go again on you own.

Rockstar (2011)

A passionate Love Story

I was waiting this because of A R Rahman but i found movie a classic love story. Imtiaz Ali again craft an excellent Love Story however again his hero and heroin love arouse after the marriage of heroin as in Love Aaj Kal. Beside this another thing is again heroin is too bold for the south Asian culture. But the story, direction, acting and above all music make it worth to watch again and again. Jangli Jawani (wild youth). Ranbir is maturing day by day and Nargis did marvelous job considering her first movie. The passion showed is great. Overall a good romantic musical flick. The treatment, tempo of the film is nice and you will not find dull moment. Shammi Kapoor's presence is added point.
