It really creeped me out the way a thriller should.

It's really hard to do Horror-Thriller on a budget with an original idea. I feel it is pulled off successfully in this trilogy of stories. I was compelled from the first frame and it has to be good to hold my attention. If you are looking for a silly over the top Hollywood special effect horror film this isn't it. A good horror thriller makes you think and use your imagination, that is what this film did for me.

A really GOOD INTENSE film... I would recommend to anyone.

Social anxiety disorder was never heard of or spoken about, let alone being the subject of a film. This is an extremely well done movie about a man who is just afraid of everything and is being peer pressured into attending his 10 year re-union. Being the "IT" guy of school, loved by everyone, he can't fathom the thought of showing up in his eyes as the biggest failure. I would def recommend this really great indie.

Intense a well done film I normally wouldn't have watched.

I really enjoyed this film and it wasn't really the usual subject matter of a film I would watch. Sometimes it pays to get out of your head and totally immurse yourself in a different culture and completely different world. This film is filmed beautifully and acted exteremely well by everyone. I highly recommend!

My kind of Film! Loved it from Beginning to End.

I hate reviewers. Some of the best movies I have seen received the worst reviews. This is a well written and acted Indie Flick about a loser guy who drags himself through life and wishes better consistently happens. Does it, or Doesn't it? you will have to watch it to find out and you won't be sorry.

I really enjoyed this Australian Indie Flick. I thought the story was well thought out and it had lots of twists and turns that I didn't expect. It was very well acted and felt like a big budget film to me. I would highly recommend.

A Really Good Psychological Thriller!
25 July 2018
I really Enjoy indie films this is no exception. This is more of a Psychological Thriller than horror. Some People find it really hard to watch films with no recognizable stars so they give it a bad review. This sucks for the consumer as well as the filmmaker. There are too many people out there with nothing else to do but spread grief. This film is about a single mother trying to confront her demons to save her home and her family. It is very well acted and deserves a fair shot. I really enjoyed it.

I thought it was a good movie thriller worth the watch
28 September 2017
People these days don't want to get invested in a story line. It seems that review writers are looking for immediate gratification or they are just upset at the world and writing a bad review is a way for them to use their power to get back at it. I really liked this little indie thriller. It's not the best acted or filmed but it has an interesting story which is better than a cookie cutter action film. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a movie to past the time, it was good.

I really Liked this original story and attractive cast!
5 December 2016
I thought this was a really original idea having the woman put a camera in her cheating boyfriends head. Then being double crossed by her boss and having him take over and steal her idea and become completely deranged. It reminded be of one of those strange 1980's late night horror films. i enjoyed it, i thought the acting was good by some and bad by others.Definitely not a waste of time and a good independent film that i would recommend. Pamela Sutch is a veteran horror film actress and she wrote , produced and directed the film as well as acted in it. Eric Annunziato looks like he rolled right out of Jersey shore and is much fun to watch. Squeaky Moore is Great! as well as Marcin Paluch and Rose Fiore, Jade Elysan, Rich Mc Doonald and Veteran Character actor Frank Ferruccio Steals the show!

Very Well Done for the budget! i would watch again!
7 May 2016
This was not an easy genre of film to make with a lower budget but considering it was i was impressed. The sets and special effects were great and the filming was really top-notch! The acting was a little uneven mostly by the females in the cast but they had their moments too! The men i thought were really good and made the story very intriguing. I would definitely recommend it to others to watch but not to the hyper-critical people who would enjoy picking it apart. People don't realize what goes into making a film and they so easily tear it apart. If you can make a movie for under a million dollars that can hold someones attention for the entire time then you got a decent film!

Almost Excellence!!!!!Jayne Mansfield's Turbulent Life!
21 April 2016
Undertaking a production like this without a huge budget was one hell of a risk. In the right ( Or wrong ) hands set design alone could literally eat up the modest budget for a larger production, never mind it's impact on an Indie one. Never the less, director Rob Villano decided to attempt what could have been a hazardous production using writer Frank Ferruccio's book as the base for the screenplay. The results are a mixed bag at times. Diamonds To Dust flirts with greatness at times, slums it... and then rebounds back to the top. In terms of sheer entertainment this turbulent biopic easily holds it's own; but it could have been so much more.

The problems with Diamonds To Dust begin straight after the intro credit roll. In a nutshell? The coloring and filters. I totally understand the impulse to color this film like it was made many, many years ago. A film that takes place in the 1950s and 60s? Sounds like a great idea in theory. Theory doesn't always work in the real world though. The coloring just kept taking me straight out of the film but not as much as the filters and vignettes. At times the mixing of the darker colors and vignettes made it a real pain in the ass to watch and take in the film. Thankfully, the filters ease up as the movie goes on and eventually, your eyes adjust to the poor coloring choices. The other aspect which kept concerning me was the inconsistency of the actors. At times, the acting was brilliant and completely engaging all around the board! Other times it came across as scripted, hollow and without feeling. Sometimes this happened scene to scene! For the most part, Hailey Heisick did a great job in the lead role, allowing you to forget for a time it was an actress you were watching, playing a part. Most of the inconsistent performances came from the supporting parts. Again, no one person really stood out because the acting was so up and down. I have no doubt that the talent was all there, it just felt like it wasn't completely utilized at times. The lack of focus and direction at these points in the film really hurt what was overall a great production.

In the end, we have an above average film that at times showed total signs of greatness. Without the issues I wrote about above this could easily have been one of the few to earn a perfect rating! It's all there! As Diamonds To Dust sits right now, we've got an entertaining piece of Independent art that blew away my expectations and I was glad to have watched. This is a real, not watered down biopic of a strong woman navigating her way through the era of men, booze and movies! Although not as perfect as it could have been, Diamonds To Dust has enough gumption and grit to satisfy history buffs and anyone craving a good story. -MC
