I Want My Time Back!

This is the worst piece of garbage I have ever seen. I would rather watch a horse giving birth, nay, I would rather watch paint dry, I would rather do anything else in the world than waste my precious time on this complete and utter failure of a ' horror' movie. In fact, this movie doesn't deserve to classify as horror, I still don't understand what genre it is. It is not clearly not horror, the 'terrifying supernatural' entity is a complete joke, it is so weak, you could literally 'blow' it away( you need to see the movie to get the pun ) and it is certainly not a thriller, my six year old niece can write a better thriller than this and she can't even spell properly.

The actors are complete amateurs, they can't even convey basic human emotion, everything sounds scripted and unnatural, the setting is clichéd, farm houses are so overrated.

The tag line should have been-

'When the devil breeds...

It gives birth to this piece of s**t...

Why the hate?

This movie was not half bad, in fact, it was pretty darn good. The setting was original, authentic and quite different from the clichéd haunted houses and abandoned mental asylums. Ancient Egypt is something which horror movie directors don't enjoy dabbling in and thus I appreciate the effort made by Grégory Levasseur to explore a setting which is not very popular.

The story line was different and refreshing, the actors were pretty convincing and the special effects were decent, what more can you ask from a movie.Not every horror movie can be exceptional and The Pyramid is clearly not exceptional, it is decent and it is in my opinion 'WORTH' the watch. If you enjoyed Grave Encounters than you, my friend, will certainly enjoy this.

And if you do watch the movie and hate it, try looking on the bright side, at least you learnt a little history.

The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death (2014)

The title should be ' hello '

This movie was depressingly bad. A sad sequel to Women In Black. Besides the pathetic, cheap, amusement park scare tactics used by the directors, the movie lacked the very quintessential essence which makes any great horror movie great and that is a, story line. Besides the setting and the sudden scares, the movie pales in comparison to its predecessor and if you still go ahead and watch the movie, I want you to count the number of times the protagonist says the word " hello.' It is so annoying, its not like the women in black is going to say ' hi ' back. The only thing the angel of death should take, is this atrocious dump back to hell.

Must Watch.

This is show is truly a fine work of art.Every minute detail is done to perfection, from the setting to the variegated characters.I never really enjoyed the Western genre, but after watching the first couple of episodes, I am hooked.

Each character is unique and has a realistic back story. The lead which is played by Anson Mount ( Cullen Bohannon ) , in my opinion , is brilliant. He fits the role perfectly. I love how the story beautifully builds around him. There is a beautiful transgression from one episode to another, it is not forced or abrupt.

The setting is perfect.Every detail from the clothes to the accents is genuine to the good old Wild West.Hell On Wheels is the best of television. Any one looking for a genuinely good Television show should definitely give this a try.

Dread (2009)

Bloody Brilliant

This movie in my opinion is truly a classic , the acting is brilliant and the story line is excellent , unlike some movies , in which the acting looks scripted and fake and the plot is rubbish.

The movie starts of rather slow , but the ending is worth the wait. There is plenty of gore and suspense in between to keep you glued . This movie is not for the faint heart-ed or people who get grossed-out very easily.

5.7/10 is a rather unfair score for this movie.The originality and simplicity of this movie is what makes it special.It's more a sort of a psychological thriller . Anyways , its a fun flick with plenty of gore , suspense and partial nudity.

A must watch for any thriller fan.
