According to me. I know for a fact I have a strange sense of humor, I dont like modern comedies and even my family doesnt understand why I like these. But here it is anyway.
I dont like most comedians sense of humor, but these actors I think are actually funny.
This has ended up greatly resembling my favorites list, with a dash of childhood favorites mixed in.
In no particular order.

When I watched these for the first time I couldnt get enough. I watched them almost straight through and stayed up nights to get more. I will attempt to make it true but not a copy of my Top TV Shows list.
In order of how much sleep I remember missing.
In order of how much sleep I remember missing.
Here is a list of horror movies from a non-horror fan. Some will just barely fit into the genre, but thats what you get from a non-horror fan.
Up to the age of 12. In order of approximate preference at the time. Its hard to remember. :P
Movies and shows I am mostly likely to watch when I am having a bad day. Can also mean "Movies and TV Shows for a Desert Island", since every day would be a bad day.
The announcement of the Oscar nominees today got me thinking about how I so rarely agree with the Oscar choices. These are the few that I actually think deserve it, in order of preference.
Although, I havent seen all 82 winners, let alone all the nominees. So I have a limited perspective.
Although, I havent seen all 82 winners, let alone all the nominees. So I have a limited perspective.
Movies that I didnt particularly like the first time, but are really popular so I should probably give them a second chance. In the order I will probably rewatch them, or how much hope I have for them.
Its kinda hard to judge which friendships just take it that extra step to bromance, but I just kinda went with my first instinct. In order of the epicness of their relationship imo (excluding the last 2).
I wasnt able to find as many as I expected so most of these are really stretching the rules.
100ths and 200ths that I've seen. In order of preference, although a lot of them I dont seem to remember. :/
They arent all necessarily historical because they didnt all happen, and they arent all necessarily epic because some of them are more small scale, but still you get the idea.
Whether they left early or they came late, characters who left a lasting impression. Two seasons or less, main characters only (although not all of them made it to opening credits).
I am just working with the list of fave shows I already had made, which happened to be of 15 shows.
6/15 are leads, 5/15 are female, only 2/15 leads are annoying, and 8/15 of these are the funniest character! Thats where its at!

Judged by a combination of factors, including behaviour, culture, and physical appearance.
The character profiles used are just examples and in some cases the only character available.

These are some of my favourite characters who were bad guys but are now good guys. Whether they are struggling with supernatural urges (vampires) or they were villains who switched sides, or whether they are protagonists with a coloured past.
There may be spoilers in my summaries.
"Nothing I have done since turning against the goa'uld will make up for the atrocities I once committed in their name. Somewhere deep inside you knew it was wrong, a voice you did not recognize screamed for you to stop. You saw no way out, it was the way things were, they could not be changed. You're trying to convince yourself the people you're hurting deserved it. You became numb to their pain and suffering, you learned to shut out the voice speaking against it... You will never forgive yourself. Accept it. You hurt others, many others, that cannot be undone. You will never find personal retribution, but your life does not have to end. That which is right, just, and true can still prevail. If you do not fight for what you believe in all may be lost for everyone else. But do not fight for yourself, fight for others, others that may be saved through your effort. That is the least you can do." -Teal'c (Stargate SG-1)

These are characters I wish I could be more like because they are all smart and strong, and I am not very smart and very shy. Most of their areas of expertise are humanities because that is what I am most interested in. And naturally they are mostly women, but there are still a few men. In approximate order.
Actors who played two characters on TV shows I've watched. In order of how memorable they were.
Light and fun shows and movies are my favourite. Things that will put me in a good mood. So if you like them too, you can get some good recommendations from this list. Although they will mostly be sci-fi, since that's mostly what I watch. In order of funness.
These are all the shows that I like that are about crime fighters or characters fighting evil in whatever way they can. I will briefly explain their methods.
Romances with the most moving (in a positive way) ending, climax, or resolution. Whatever its called.
This excludes ppl who are equally as famous or more famous for being a singer, such as Jennifer Lopez or Mandy Moore. This is for ppl who may have some Broadway experience or released a record after becoming famous, but are primarily known as actors.
Since Daniel/Vala only had 1.5 yrs compared to Sam/Jack's 8 yrs, a lot of these episodes are more subtle, and I cut the list length in half.
All the Michael Crichton (author/screenwriter) films I have seen in order of preference.
All the Michael Bay films I have seen in order of preference.
I'm probably gonna get heat for this. :P
I'm probably gonna get heat for this. :P
All the Helena Bonham Carter movies I've seen in order of preference.
All the Milla Jovovich movies I've seen from best to worst.
So many still to see.

All the movies in the Disney Animated Canon that I have seen in order of preference.
I have seen 44/50.
I have seen 44/50.
I hate sitcoms. These are the only ones I have seen and not hated. A few of them I actually watched regularly (the first four).
All the Alan Rickman movies I've seen in order of preference.
He picks good movies. These are almost all among my favorites.
He picks good movies. These are almost all among my favorites.
All the M. Night Shyamalan movies I've seen in order of preference.
I keep this as up-to-date as possible with any new additions to the season 2 cast. In approximate order of character importance.
All the Jane Austen related movies (not only adaptations) that I have seen in order of preference.
Actors whose supposed hotness I just dont get. I am not trying to be negative since I am a huge fan of beautiful ppl, and there are many more than this list includes that I think are worthy of praise.
In order of most overrated to least overrated.
In order of most overrated to least overrated.
I have slowly grown to love this show more and more as it goes on and it has become one of my favourite currently airing shows, if not my favourite. Its a tough pick between this and Merlin. Anyway, I love it and I had to make this list.
Actresses whose supposed hotness I just dont get. I really love actresses and spend way more time fanning over them than actors, so coming up with 20 I'm not crazy about was a small feat. And there are way more than this that I think are totally gorgeous and worthy of praise. In order of most overrated to least overrated.
I go through these phases where I become kinda obssesed with romances and shipping. Going through one right now, thanks to watching North & South last night. So, this is my outlet. :P Hottest couples due to physical appearance, passion, a sense of the forbidden, etc. Whatever the reason, these guys are hot.
Five vampire couples out of nine, including the top 3.
Five vampire couples out of nine, including the top 3.
...and pretty much all of whom you would want to kick your ass. :P
Since I made the list, its gonna be more like, Kick Ass Women I Like.
Since I made the list, its gonna be more like, Kick Ass Women I Like.
The Chosen one. A prophesied saviour. Some are truly prophesied (Harry Potter, Anakin Skywalker), some are simply foretold from the future (John Connor, Peter Bishop), and some are generational or hereditary (Buffy, Aang), but they are all "The One", with a few exceptions i.e. Faith.
In time it may have been revealed that Jaye Tyler (Wonderfalls) or Ned (Pushing Daisies) could qualify, who knows? Unfortunately their shows ended before we were able to find out. Recommendations welcome!

From Best to Worst.
I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but I forgot until I saw someone else do it.
I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but I forgot until I saw someone else do it.
These are all the animated shows I have watched so far. I plan to watch more. It is hard to rank them because I like them pretty equally, except for Avatar which is leagues ahead of the rest.
While making this list I realized how many more popular dystopian films I still have to watch.
A dystopia is an often futuristic society that has degraded into a repressive and controlled state, often under the guise of being utopian. They sometimes overlap with apocalyptic films.

These are all the princesses in the Disney Princess franchise in order of favorite.
Some of my favourite fictional characters who are royalty, and a few who are not fictional. I used quotation marks for the characters who didnt actually go by the title King or Queen, but filled a similar role, or for characters who were never officially named ruler but were the rightful heir.
Families where most of the members are cool or interesting characters, especially when concerning each other. To save space I will leave out some of the family members that are less interesting.
Top 10 couples I want to hook up that either havent yet, or never will in the case of deaths or canceled shows (three of these ppl are dead :(, spoilers where the deaths are concerned). I'll avoided ships that sailed but sank.
In order of preference. Keeping it at 10 was very difficult.

All the significant characters, in approximate order of preference.
The lack of pictures is unfortunate.

Excluding animated Disney (i.e. Aladdin, Tangled) because there are so many of them and they are not primarily thought of as fantasy anyway.
All the significant characters, in approximate order of preference.

Spoilers! Clearly!
TV deaths that were well handled or particularly moving.

I am new to Bollywood so there will be many who I have never seen in anything yet so they wont be on the list.
My 5 favourite TV shows, and then my husband's 5 favourite underneath. The contrast is incredible.
All the suggestions from fans for the casting of Susannah Dean in the upcoming Stephen King adaptation produced by Ron Howard, The Dark Tower, in order of preference.
She is 30, beautiful, and tough as hell. And she has a split personality so she has to be a really good actress.
*This list was created a year and a half ago so the ages are wrong, but they still give you an idea.

All the suggestions by fans for the casting of Roland Deschain in the upcoming Stephen King adaptation produced by Ron Howard, The Dark Tower, in order of preference.
He is an aging, weathered gunslinger who is thousands of years old so there is no way of saying how old he actually looks. He is tall and thin with pale blue eyes. He has arthritis and is starting to get the shakes. He is a father figure to a 12 year-old boy, a twenty-something man, and a 30 year-old woman; and he was inspired by Clint Eastwood's "man with no name" character. I always pictured him to look about 55 years-old.

The Snubbies were created by a group of approximately 100 TV.com users who abandoned the mismanaged site and started a group on Facebook instead, where we freely discuss TV. When on TV.com we had created the Memmy awards through our blogs, but it was renamed the Snubbies this year due to the change of location. Here are the winners in the acting categories.
Although, I certainly dont agree with all the winners. Some ppl seem to have thought this was a popularity contest, or just voted for whoever was from their fave show. (*ahem* I am looking at you, Kaley Cuoco and Stana Katic)

I am disappointed with the amount of ties. I am somewhat upset at the organizers who went through all the trouble of handling the nominations and votes, but didnt bother to give us a winner. It feels like a waste of the trouble to me, but I am not an organizer, so here they are regardless.

All the suggestions from fans for the casting of Eddie Dean in the upcoming Stephen King adaptation produced by Ron Howard, The Dark Tower, in order of preference.
Eddie is the husband of Susannah who I previously listed. He is in his early to mid twenties (they said he was 24 in the last book, was likely younger in the beginning). He is a former heroin addict, but now he is a joker and a fiercely loyal friend. All we know about him physically is that he is attractive and has hazel eyes.

I hardly ever think about whether an actor is hot or not, and I usually dont even notice. But, as a straight woman, I figured it was about time I made this obvious list. Plus, I already have a "Gorgeous Actresses" list made and I felt it needed its partner. I seem to like pretty boys. :P I didnt realize that before. In no particular order.
Main characters that Joss Whedon killed in order of saddest to least sad. Major Spoilers. If I'm forgetting someone let me know.
Best of the best. Obviously there are way too many gorgeous actresses to list them all, so these are the most absolutely unforgettable to me.
This is not just the shows that I would get if I could, because that would be almost all of them. These are the shows that I absolutely intend to buy one day. They would be in blu-ray as much as possible. I never buy DVDs anymore except for the TV shows that I have no reason to believe they will be released on blu-ray (nothing is announced. Although I run the risk of it being released later, which happened to me after I bought Farscape on DVD. Oh well). In some cases I will list the edition I want, although if I find a different edition on sale I will buy that instead. But never individual volumes of a season. You can also assume I want all available seasons unless otherwise specified. In order of want. If you are curious what TV shows I already own on blu-ray, you can visit this list.
Really wanna see World Without End, Taken, The Lost Room, The 10th Kingdom, and The Stand.
Some of them I hate, others are just slightly annoying. Some will be unpopular choices. I tried to have more familiar characters so I went through my list of shows and ended up with way more than I wanted.
All the ships I have ever shipped, past and present. The lack of pictures is unfortunate.
Some are actually stupid, some just act like idiots sometimes, or are socially awkward, or are the bumbling fool type character.
Inspired by this article. I laughed when I came across it because I had already thought about grooming my children into sci-fi/fantasy fans. And now I know I'm not the only one. I had mostly considered showing them the same ones that turned me into a sci-fi/fantasy fan, but there are a lot of others I hadnt considered. A lot of these have newer sequels or remakes that I didnt include because the original was great and I loved old movies when I was a kid and I want my kids to as well, otherwise they could miss out on a lot of greats. I am including nothing above a PG rating. I know I'm missing a lot. I wont add suggestions unless they are glaring omissions.
While making this I almost felt the need to make a "Worst Series Finales" list. Some great shows ended with really bad finales.
2012 releases I have seen so far, in order of preference. I really enjoyed a lot of these, so the ordering is difficult.
Including TV shows or plays when applicable. One entry for each book, even if I saw more or I saw none.
In order of preference of the movies.
In order of preference of the movies.
The Quentin Tarantino movies I have seen. 6 down, 4 to go. In order of preference.
Again, some are rather recent, but I still only watched them because of their reputation, but was left with an understanding as to why it has that reputation. In order of preference.
Some are rather recent, but I still only watched them because of their reputation. Some of them I like, just not nearly as much as most people. In order of preference, with most disappointing at the bottom.
Darker dramas, no crime procedurals here. This list has been a work in progress for 6 months. I intended to wait until I watched several more dramas I have been wanting to see (i.e. Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks, The Sopranos). But I am impatient so I will finish it now and just update it when I watch more.
One day I will also watch The IT Crowd, Skins, and Spooks, and maybe Downton Abbey and Red Dwarf.
These are not necessarily my favourite TV shows. Some of my faves I know are not for everyone, and I would not mentioned them if asked to recommend a good show. But all of these I would recommend to almost anyone, as long as they are open-minded.
People who have been cast in season 3 of Game of Thrones, with a brief description of their character.
Just examples of what I imagine the characters from The Iron Fey book series to look like. Not necessarily casting ideas. No movie is planned at this time.
Meghan is 17, Puck and Ash are immortal but I imagine they would look about the same age as her.
*I made this list a long time ago and the ages are now out of date, so you can adjust accordingly. I dont want to worry about updating each year.

Only Blu-ray, not DVDs. I have far too many DVDs to be bothering you with them.
Shows I plan to watch eventually. Most of the anime are at the bottom because I dont know how to sort them since I dont really know what they are about. They were recommended.
My 100th list!
My 100th list!
...according to me. The TV shows with the best opening credits sequence.
It may be a little limited since I havent seen every opening credits sequences out there, but I did my best. I did not limit it to shows I enjoy.
