Lists by TotalVertigo

a list of 1,000 titles
I take Documentaries, Feature Films, Miniseries, Short Films, and TV Movies into consideration, but not TV Series or episodes.

______________________________________________________________________

Introduction:

Each film is given a specific rank, but it is more accurate (and probably more useful) to view this list as a set of three "tiers" of films.

Tier 1 - #1-100 (10/10)
Tier 2 - #101-500 (9/10)
Tier 3 - #501-1000 (8/10)

These films are generally ranked in a descending order, but the specific placement of any two similarly ranked films is often arbitrary (why is La Strada above The Seventh Seal? Because it just is, that's why). All of the films on this list receive my full recommendation; simply having a position on this list is more important to me than where it lands.

My news years resolution for this list is to add more non-narrative films. This has already led to the addition (or re-entry) of several documentaries (such as Dont Look Back and Salesman) and experimental films (such as At Sea and Adebar). Expect to see more of these kinds of movies enter the list throughout the year.

To Egi David Perdana: the TSPDT list was my inspiration. I stole the "List Changes" section of the description directly from that site.
Thanks for the praise!
