Best out of The Prequels.
Okay a lot of people are going to hate me for saying that but its true. The Phantom Menace was better then The Clone Wars and far superior than the god awful Revenge Of The Sith. Yes Phantom Menace had that dreadful character Jar Jar Binks but, it also had the best sith lord after Darth Vader: Darth Maul. Darth Maul is a bad-ass, no joke. Anyone who can take on a Jedi Master and his apprentice needs to get ton of kudos.
On the downside: The kid that played Anakin Skywalker was just annoying. Same goes for Natalie Portman as Padmae.
I give the film a 7/10 cause the action was great and I loved the story. Plus, Darth Maul :)
Batman & Robin (1997)
I cant believe Im about to say this...
In my mind there has always been enough Batman to live in any universe. The dark and brooding Burton world, The sharp and dramatic Nolanverse, and yes even the camp that is Joel Schumacher. And I honestly cant believe Im going to say this but: I love it all. Yes even the nightmare that is "Batman & Robin".
I was about 2 years old when Batman & Robin came on to the big screen and I just had to see it. I begged my father to take me to see the movie, and with him being a big Batman fan as well, almost instantly agreed.
Lets be honest; The acting in Batman & Robin is horrible. Arnold is horrible as Mr. Freeze and Clooney wouldn't even make my list for a possible Batman, let alone star in this one. I HATE Alicia Silverstone, I think she is ghastly, just dreadful. I do admit to liking Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy and the whiny bitch that is Chris O'Donnell. He really is a decent Robin, I give him credit for that.
The writing is a joke in itself. All the ice puns, Bane as a complete and utter fool, "rubber lips", the fact that B&R have Ice Skates in there suits, everything is just horrible. The Alfred story would have been actually pretty decent if they weren't so damn campy through the whole movie.
And even after I said all of this: I still love Batman & Robin. Yes, I just admitted to loving this awful creation, why? Because its fun to watch. Because I don't take it seriously. Because it brings happy thoughts from my childhood, Idk, I just love the movie. Its bad, awful maybe. But still, I like it.
So Batman & Robin I give a 4/10 because it gives me a sense of joy watching Arnold scream "YOUR NOT SENDING ME TO THE COOLER" ha-ha.
Green Lantern (2011)
Good, But Not Great.
I don't know why people are hating on this movie! It isn't as bad as everyone says and here is why...
Acting: Ryan Reynolds is a very good Hal Jordan. Yes he is a little goofier than the Hal we see in the comics but so isn't Tony Stark to an extent. Could they have gotten someone to play him better? Maybe, but I was actually pretty happy with his performance. Blake Lively wasn't the Carol Ferris I would of liked to see, I would say her performance was the weakest. Mark Strong IS Sinestro. Couldn't have picked someone better.
Action: Was very strong. I however don't really like CGI to much but it was still very cool to watch GL fighting off the Parallax.
Writing: It wasn't great. A little to comedic, but the origin story was spot on. The villains were not bad choices, Parallax could of come a little later, and I didn't really like Hector Hammond to much but, Oh well.
Overall I would say it was actually a pretty good superhero flick. Not The Dark Knight or The Avengers, but it was very good. Not as bad as Green Hornet, Catwoman, Elektra, etc.
Batman Forever (1995)
Batman Forever...Why the hate?
Okay, I have been watching Batman since I was two years old. I know a lot about the books and I have to say..."Batman Forever" isn't as bad as people say! I mean Im not saying that is surpasses the Burton series but for what the actors had with a shitty script, it was entertaining. Val Kilmer as Batman/Bruce Wayne was fantastic. He was a very good replacement for Michael Keaton ( who in my mind is the best ). Chris O'Donnel was bit old for Robin but I felt he was a good choice. My only complaints about the film is...
1. Gotham looks like Toykio...WTF 2. Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face was horrible. 3. Jim Carrey could have been a bit more serious. 4. I wish Robin (In costume) Would have had more scenes.
Other than that "Batman Forever" was a decent movie in my opinion.
