Actors outperform the story

Honestly I am absolutely about nitpicking when it comes to Malayalam movies. Recommended by my colleague I thought I'll give this one a try and I should say this one hit the home run for me. An excellent entertainer with many a laught out loud moments. I don't understand people complaining about this movie. Then again they are the ones who think movies are all about big budget and hitting the big billions.

I'm in love with movies like this which try to immerse you in that atmosphere it so beautifully creates. Not even a single person performed bad here. Story maybe a bit weak but it's forgivable.

I'd recommend to anyone to watch this one rather than re watching those flying, kicking and inexplicably never dying hero movies film producers spit out recently ( I'm looking at you KGF and RRR). People please, you are losing that sense of what a real movie tastes like...

Drishyam 2 (2021)

An excellent sequel to an already brilliant movie
19 February 2021
It is a rarity in Indian movies or rather any movie that a sequel comes out as good as the first part. Drishyam 2 is a must watch thriller which is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Although two and half hours of a movie was a bit tiring for me, the cleverly crafted climax makes up for it.

Jeethu Joseph is a talented person who has already shown his finesse in many other movies. The film was perfectly cast with actors who were equally impressive.

When it comes to Malayalam movies I am quite picky and this time I have definitely picked the right one! It's a shame the movie couldn't reach the cinemas due to current covid crisis because piracy is cancer and does not do justice to such a masterpiece. This movie is worth your money.

Highly entertaining thriller guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat

This is the first time i am ever writing a movie a review on IMDb. So bear with me if my English is not good. But this movie deserves one. This movie literally kept me on the edge of the seat and gasping on the violent and unexpected twists. Many a time a scene comes and you are left wondering 'what the hell just happened'. With hell lot of twists and surprises this movie keeps the action going on. There are no particular points along the time line where you are bored. Pure thriller from start to end. Also happy to see Danny Glover in action. all in all a must see. it deserves a rating more than 7.

Family entertainer of course but that's it!

Saw this movie last week. Inspite of all the excellent reviews from my friends and family members i didn't find myself satisfied. To tell the truth i found myself bored many a time because of the slow pace. It seems they somehow wanted to end the movie after the intermission. I give it to the movie for many a hilarious dialogues and 'naadan' comedy but then again thats all it has to provide. Biju menon does a wonderful job portraying his role as an emerging politician. I had a hard time deciding which was the main story for this movie because it contained many a stories i should say given equal importance. The movie didn't end up a disaster thanks to Biju Menon for his fine acting skills and witty lines. Comedy genre movie which doesn't have a backbone i would say in a nutshell.
