There are some great movies about teenagers and their problems that can teach us important things about growing up, love, friendship, society and life.

I put here movies with teenagers (youth between 13 and 19 years old) in the main roles or included in the main storyline, but not movies where they are parts of a ''less important'' storyline (American Beauty and American History X, for example). So, here we have crime dramas, thriller dramas, dramas about teenager - mother / father relationship, romantic dramas, comedy dramas, dramas with bullying, gay dramas, dramas about teenager - teacher relationship, mind-twisting dramas, horror dramas, dramas with a high school fighting, jail dramas and sport dramas.

Movies here are listed by their grades and current rating on IMDb! My favorite movies from here are: Love Exposure, Confessions, The Wounds, Flipped, Keith, A Tale of Two Sisters, ...ing, Alpha Dog, The Girl Next Door and The Invisible (2007).

I hope you'll enjoy the list and give me some suggestions, if I missed any notable titles.

P.S. Thanks to my friend Sandra Lukić, who helped me with several titles listed here.

All around the world, there are A LOT of movies with great and exceptional performances by children!

I put all genres here and most of the titles are movies with best child actresses and actors EVER: Shirley Temple, Dakota Fanning, Abigail Breslin, Pamela Franklin, Jodelle Ferland, AnnaSophia Robb, River Phoenix, Haley Joel Osment, Freddie Highmore, Brad Renfro, Lukas Haas, Macaulay Culkin etc.

My basic criteria for the list, except for the great acting, was that NOBODY hadn't more than 16 YEARS OLD when these movies were finished! I probably forgot several excellent performances by some young actors / actresses, so please give me your suggestions to make this list better.

Below every movie on the list I put the names of the child actors and / or actresses who were amazing in their roles. Girls are marked with RED color, and boys with BLUE.

P.S. Thanks to my friends Boris Tomić and Ivan Pavlović, who helped me with some movies listed here.

South Koreans have GREAT and ''deep'' thrillers and plenty of FASCINATING stories about revenge: Oldboy, A Bittersweet Life, The Man from Nowhere, I Saw the Devil, No Mercy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Lady Vengeance, Princess Aurora...

This is my choice and I think I was very objective and didn't miss any notable titles here.

South Koreans probably have THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ROMANTIC MOVIES in the whole world!!

Almost every movie in TOP 10 easily can be No. 1 here, it depends on what kind of love story you like the most. Also, a movie which is put on (for example) number 40 easily can be in TOP 20.

Enjoy the list!

South Koreans DEFINITELY know how to make a good horror movie!

A Tale of Two Sisters is not only one of the best horror movies ever made, but also one of the best movies of all time, in my opinion. Most of the other titles on this list (especially first 10) are also high quality.

South Koreans have several great social drama (most of them directed by Lee Chang-dong) and art drama (most of them directed by Kim Ki-duk)! Besides that, they have pretty good history drama: The King and the Clown, Masquerade, Untold Scandal, A Frozen Flower... There are also family drama, crime drama, sport drama and other types of drama on my list.

Kim Ki-duk is the director with the most titles here, which is reasonable, because that's his main genre and he is one of the greatest Korean and Asian filmmakers.

It's important to say that I didn't put romantic drama on this list! They are here, on my other list: http://www.imdb.com/list/6gxSTix4ZUk/.

You've probably seen a bunch of movies in which you noticed some guy / woman, who irritated you like hell. After you see this list, I hope you'll say: ''Yeah, that's that slimy woman!'' or ''Yeah, that's that slimy guy!''

Some people listed here are great actors / actresses, and 5 of them won Oscars (Barbra Streisand, Nicolas Cage, Joe Pesci, Quentin Tarantino & Billy Bob Thornton), but they are pretty irritating to me, and to most of you, I suppose.

These 50 people are listed in alphabetical order (first female, then male), besides Tom Cruise who is DEFINITELY number 1. The most irritating actor ever? Hell yeah! There is no doubt about it!

I'm a guy and I'm DEFINITELY not gay, but I think I'm good at judgement which man is handsome, and which one is not.

I hope that a lot of women / girls would like this list. :) But, it's pitty that most of these actors don't have their pictures on IMDb...

These are currently my favorite directors! There are plenty of others (of course), which are also great, and I will add some of them in the future, when I see more movies that are directed by them. They are: Claude Chabrol, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, John Ford, Akira Kurosawa, David Lean, Sergio Leone, Yasujiro Ozu, Franklin J. Schaffner etc.

It is also possible that some of these directors will ''switch places'' on my list after some time.

These titles are probably the greatest movies with phone terror ever made!

Some of them scared the sh*t out of me, mostly because of their atmosphere (Black Christmas, The Ring, Black Sabbath, The Caller (2011)...), some of them are very intelligent (Sorry, Wrong Number, Phone Booth, Voice of a Murderer, Midnight Lace...) and most of them are exciting and entertaining.

Mind-twisting or mind-fuc*ing movies are movies with an unexplained main fable that CAN be explained in some way, movies where we don't know what's real and what isn't (only if it's important for the main fable!), movies where we have at least two explanations and theories, movies with more stories or endings which are different from one another and movies where we don't know WHAT is really happening, HOW and / or WHY.

I didn't put here movies with an open ending only, because a lot of movies have it! I also didn't put entirely surrealist movies (like Un Chien Andalou from Luis Bunuel, Tetsuo, the Iron Man from Shin'ya Tsukamoto etc.) which are completely UNEXPLAINABLE. But, I put almost all genres: SF, action, adventure, thriller, mystery, romance, drama, crime, horror, comedy, anime, art movies, philosophical movies...

Some of the greatest directors of all time are present here: Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, Alfred Hitchcock, Ingmar Bergman, Darren Aronofsky, Martin Scorsese, Ang Lee, Bong Joon-ho, Andrey Tarkovskiy, David Lynch, Luis Bunuel, Alejandro Amenabar, Kim Ki-duk, David Fincher, Roman Polanski, Kim Jee-woon, Michael Haneke, Spike Jonze, Satoshi Kon, Bela Tarr, Terrence Malick, Kar Wai Wong, Robert Wise, Richard Linklater, Giuseppe Tornatore, David Cronenberg, Akira Kurosawa, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Nicolas Winding Refn, John Carpenter, Shion Sono, Lars von Trier, Terry Gilliam, Neil Jordan, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Masaki Kobayashi...

If I missed any notable titles, please tell me. Enjoy!

South Koreans have pretty good action movies! In most cases, they are not as good or innovative as their thrillers or romances, but they are good enough to enjoy.

I watched more than 200 South Korean movies, so I think I'm pretty relevant to make such a list like this. But, you are free to give me some suggestions if I missed some important women.

South Korean war / military movies are great, intelligent and well acted! They are so different from one another, but their messages are similar.

Apart from titles on my list, there are several of them which aren't listed on IMDb:
- Haan / Han Gil-soo (2005)
- On the Pitch (Dreams Come True) / Kkoom-eun I-roo-eo-ji-da (2010)

I'm a big horror movie fan, having watched hundreds of horror movies and I think that ANY REAL HORROR FAN in the world should have about, at least, 80% titles listed here on their ''Best horror movies'' list. 11 movies from this list are from Italy, 6 from Japan, 5 from France and South Korea, 4 from Spain, 3 from Germany, 2 from Thailand, and 1 from Sweden, Mexico and Hong Kong. Others are from the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.

I have all types of horror movies here! So, here are the movies with / about: haunted houses, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, witches, zombies, aliens, monsters, satanism, serial killers, slashers, military horrors, psychological horrors & found footage movies (movies with ''shaky'' camera).

My criteria were:
- intelligence
- tension
- atmosphere
- creepiness
- depth
- originality
- acting
- emotions
- good or great twists
- ending &
- influence on other movies

There are eight sequels and three remakes listed here. The sequels are 28 Weeks Later, Wishing Stairs, Saw 2, Saw 3, REC 2, Halloween 2, Halloween 4 and A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. The remakes are The Thing, The Ring and Let Me In. They are great, so they deserve it.

P.S. I don't consider The Wicker Man to be a horror movie! It's a mystery thriller, that's why it's not on this list.

South Korean film industry is one of the top 5 film industries in the whole world! It is astonishing and beautiful because of great actors, great actresses and, of course, because of brilliant and visionary directors & screenwriters.

I listed 45 names here, most of them also being screenwriters. The first six listed here are among the 100 directors of all time and I think my conclusions are objective!

My basic criterion was that they must have made at least 2 great (or very good) films, and the majority of them have made even more than two.

I'm a HUGE fan of horror movies and I watched plenty of horror remakes, so I think I'm the right person to make such a list like this.

Feel free to give me a few suggestions if I missed any notable titles for I will be updating frequently as I "discover" more good horror remakes. The Last House on the Left (2009) is NOT a horror movie, in my opinion. That's why it's not here, on my list.

I'm also waiting for these horror remakes:
- An American Werewolf in London (????)
- Apartment 1303 3D (2012)
- The Birds (????)
- Carrie (2013)
- Firestarter (????)
- Hellraiser (????)
- Martyrs (????)
- The Orphanage (????)
- Pet Sematary (????)
- Poltergeist (????)
- Silent House (2011)
- Suspiria (????)

Some of them will probably make the list, too.

Melissa George is one of my favorite actresses! She is charismatic and her acting is very convincing, so I think she's HIGHLY UNDERRATED as an actress.

Melissa has several great (Triangle, Mulholland Drive, 30 Days of Night) and several very good movies (Dark City, Music Within, A Lonely Place to Die). She is well-known for her roles in TV series / TV mini-series (Home and Away, Grey's Anatomy, Bag of Bones...) and TV movies (L.A. Confidential) too, but my list shows her movies only.

Some of these titles have pretty good grades here, on IMDb: 16 Blocks, After Life, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Let's Scare Jessica to Death, Night of the Living Dead, The Ordeal, Queen Margot, Wait Until Dark and Reservoir Dogs (on IMDb 250??!!). I don't get it! I REALLY don't...

Also, some of them were directed by good directors, like Richard Donner, John Boorman, Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino and Joel Schumacher. But, they are bad. REALLY bad!

I'll someday give another chance to Reservoir Dogs, but that's it.
