Grave Encounters 2 (2012)
Good sequel but poorly concluded
In my view GE2 was a great film, although it pretty much followed (and used the same locations) that of the first movie, it was a great movie.
For me though I feel that there were a few things left open that I can truly see them using to make another one.
Sean Robinson was great as a madman but it was a little poor that they didn't really explain how he had survived and why he was the only one left, we can conclude ourselves that it was because of operation from the first movie, but again why?
The portal aspect was clever but not really explained to its full extent.
All in all not particularly scary but the few scares that were there did make me and my partner jump. Being a huge horror fan this film was a little let down after the hype from the first one but over all a well thought out sequel with a few plot holes that could have been filled in. I would still recommend this film to my horror followers.

Start of something good
For all fans of drama that keeps you guessing this is for you.
Darker than supernatural but lighter than American Horror story, the story line for this will keep you guessing.
Sure there are some bad points about this series but if there wasn't they would have nothing to improve on.
The casting is good with a number of experienced actors from this genre of show. Keeping tension in this type of show without it becoming silly can be a real chore, however the makers have done it so well at times I was literally on the edge of me seat. I wasn't sure about this when I saw that it was starting but now I have an episode under my belt I will be telling everyone I know to watch and see the drama unfold at the Drake.
Good luck and remember " not all your dreams can be a reality"
