In Part 5 of our fantastic Mini-series John Adams played by Paul Giamatti is trying to preside over The Senate and to debate over what to call the new President. Johns opinions are ignored and he has no actual power. He is excluded from George Washingtons inner circle of cabinet members and his relationship with Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hammilton are strained. Part 4 concludes with Johns inauguration as the second president and his subsequent arrival in a plundered executive mansion.

He is then reunited with his beloved wife Abigail Adams played by Laura Linney. He Finally goes up to Paris to help get The Treaty Of Paris from 1783 Started. This like the first 3 parts are really well put together and the cast is magnificent and the way that the filmmakers focus and put there time and effort in this series is awesome. Just 3 more parts to go.

After Part 1 people were waiting to see what was going to happen next and here it is.

Part 2 of 7 focuses on John Adams played by Paul Giamatti Getting fellow members of the congress to sign a Dcleration Of Independence for the right to freedom. His Wife Abigail Adams played wonderfully by Laura Linney is trying to avoid her and her entire family getting the dreaded small pox.

This is as good as Part 1 and again makes you want to watch just to see what happens. You really feel for theses characters and the kind of things they do.

Over the next few days I will be taking a look at The famous mini-series John Adams, a look at how our second president tried to accomplish freedom for the United States of America.

Part 1 0f 7 of our mini-series is about John Adams played very well by Paul Giamatti who is trying to win over the court by stating that the soldiers involved in the Boston massacre were acting in self defense and not causing cold blooded murder.

This is very entertaining and makes you want watch the rest of the series. Part 1 is fantastic at how it pulls you into the story line. Check this out if you are a history buff.

Dr. Seuss' The Cat In The Hat(2003)., 16 December 2011
10/10

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Everybody thinks this movie is like a bad case of lice, But I think that this is actually quite nice.

The two kids are Sally and Conrad, Sally is a control freak and Conrad is bad.

Then shows up a cat wearing a hat, Why He Is The Cat In The Hat and there is no doubt about that.

He brings a lot of things for the kids to do, And brings his friends Thing One and Thing Two.

He brings along a big red crate, Which really is a secret gate.

They try to clean the really big mess, With their mothers dress.

This is not a family flick, Not one your family should pick.

I do not mean that in a negative way, I am saying this because of what the people in the film say.

The jokes are dirty but funny, And this movie did make a lot of money.

To some people this movie is a crime, But not to me, End of rhyme.

Rated PG For Mild Crude Humor And Double Entendres.

After the 1966 Animated short people were in there offices wondering if they could turn this holiday classic into a live action movie. Did they Succede?

The film is about The Grinch played by Jim Carrey who lives right next to Whoville and hates it when they celebrate Christmas. So he comes up with a plan like in the original to put on a Santa suit and steal Christmas once and for all. But a little girl Cindy Lou Who played by Taylor Momsen tries to show him just how great Christmas is.

This is a actually a really entertaining film with Jim Carrey providing some great material. The effects are really good, The little girl is adorable and the supporting cast like Jeffery Tambor, Molly Shannon and Christine Baranski provide some great material to. Well Did they Succede/ I like to think so. I say Check it out.

Rated PG For Some Crude Humor.

Lets face it. Dr. Seuss is the most imaginative children's writer there is. With such classics like How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Cat In The Hat and Green Eggs And Ham. Now it seems his books are either being turned into a cartoon or a movie. So lets take a look at How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

The special is about The Grinch, Voiced by the legendary Frankenstien himself Boris Karloff who also narrates the special, is planning to get rid of Christmas for good and decides to put on a Santa suit and steal Christmas.

This is a great and classic Christmas special with wonderful animation from Chuck Jones and great voice talent from Boris Karloff. This is definitely a special nobody should celebrate Christmas Without.

Hey Kids, It's Adam Sandler Week!

Our next film of the week is about a famous football star Paul Crewe played by Adam Sandler gets arrested after drunk driving. He gets abused every day until him and Caretaker played by Chris Rock decide to run a football team in order to win their freedom.

This is a very good remake of the 1974 film and a much better one than the 2001 travesty Mean Machine. With sadness, humor, violence and plenty of language and prison jokes to entertain you through out the film. Tomorrow we move on to I Know Pronounce You Chuck And Larry a very interesting film.

Rated PG-13 For Crude And Sexual Humor, Violence, Language And Drug References.

1hr 53min/113min.
