American Wedding (2003)
the grand finale?
"MINOR SPOILERS MAY BE INVOLVED"
I just saw american wedding and i have to say albeit very funny i do hope that this is the conclusion to this saga. Jim finally ties the knot with michelle but it's not easy. the opening sequence with a semi botched proposal is overly funny. sean william scott as steve stifler does most of the work in this movie and at times they seem to focus on him thru most of the movie. First he has to weasel his way to an invatation to the wedding and then the things he must do to keep himself in good graces are just hysterical. the rest of the cast does not have much to do especially thomas ian nicholas he is just window dressing. its the stifler and jim show. Like i said it is very funny however it is dissapointing that there is not even a mention of past charectors like oz and vicky it's like they disappeared off the face of the earth that is a bad job by the director they should have in the very least been givin an excuse as to why the didnt show up . on a scale of 1 to 5 i would give this one a 3 and hope that there is no american baby
Bad Boys II (2003)
not as bad as critics are making it out to be
"minor spoilers involved"
i went to go see bad boys 2 over the weekend and i always wonder what the hell the critics are talking about. this is not a bad movie albeit a little bit of a ridiculous ending which i will not spoil but they could literally liberate a country.it is extremely funny and it outdoes the first movie there is a tendency for gore and a scene of rats doing what animals do and a load of cursing so use caution if you are bringing a child. martin lawrence should take a lesson and remain a sidekick he stinks in anything on his own but is very funny trying to play it straight. jordi molla is not as effective as tcheky karyo was in the first one as a villian. my personal opinion is they should have used peter stormare as the main villian. but overall an enjoyable popcorn flick
