Toss of the Coin (2002)
Best Horror Short Ever, I love this movie!!!!
I got the privilege to view this movie at the 2003 Horrorama. This film is witty and fun. It reminded me of Oh God! (with George Burns) meets Dogma (or any of Kevin Smith's other films). I find it hard to describe this movie without giving too much away. I totally recommend that everyone see it. When a film is 12 minutes long I don't know how you can describe it without giving away a spoiler, so SPOILER ALERT. This film starts out with the camera panning down a large hallway and into a bathroom and gives me the feeling of The Shining. We come upon a man taking a bath and listening to the radio and of course the radio is a little too near to the edge of the tub. The mans pet cat comes into the room and meows for some attention. Of course the man ignores the cat and the cat plays with the cord of the radio. The radio falls into the water and ZAP! Then we see this bright light come in through the window and God? comes to take his soul away. But not so fast. From out of nowhere up pops the Devil. They both have record of this soul being their own. How will they decide???
Only the title will tell. :) I'm telling you get a copy of this movie. You won't stop talking about it.
