Thank goodness it had Rico
Casper van deeme is the whole damn show here. For a starships movie this one is the worst, but for an anime movie it was really good. Good animations and action. Just wish it was real and more like the others. There was one confusing part when Rico was talking to a ghost. And the lady who was all about the ratings was annoying. But overall it was a good animation that I can easily see turning into a series. So hopefully that's in the works. I mean Star Wars did it with clone troopers right. I wouldve rated it higher but I'm comparing it to the older movies.
The Defenders (2017)
Very well written
Without giving any spoilers I will say I've watched all those marvel episodes and I love how they are all intertwined in this show. I like the choreography in almost all the battle scenes. I look at the ironFist as like an American ninja/ karate kid type and compare him to that. Some hardcore Kung fu enthusiasts might be disappointed. I definitely recommend seeing the stand alone shows before watching this but they made this to which you can get the gist of the history without actually seeing them all.
Just Go with It (2011)
another romantic comedy gem by the duo
well let me start off by saying I loved this movie. this ranks up there with The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates, if I watched this movie as many times as I did those which I very well may do then this might surpass them. It was very funny, loved the storyline, those kids were brilliant, loved the daddy like bond. Seeing Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman with the Hula scene was a classic moment that will be played much in the future. I swear my heart skipped a beat when Adam Sandler admitted to loving her. Also whoever doesn't think its funny when Aniston cock knocks that dude should be admitted to an insane asylum! oh and that chic Palmer was smokin hot!
Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010)
excellent film is a must see!!
this film was very educational and funny. I'm glad they were able to share their world like they did. this film is a must see for any young artist out there of any kind whether its graffiti or modern art it can be used as a valuable tool. Banksy should always remain hidden because it adds to his lure. I don't really care much for art but banksy's work was absolutely amazing!!! most of it anyways. as for the feature artist i don't know whether he's a schitzo or a savant but one thing is for sure he is living a dream and has been for years. good job by all involved in remaining cool through the whole film and acting very nonchalant to the outcome. I'm sure there's more anger behind the scenes but they didn't show it on film which was cool IMO.
The Eagle (2011)
not worth your time. more of a chic flick
I really liked the storyline of this movie and feels that the storyline has potential but it was all wasted on the acting and directing. I kept hearing Channing Tatum's southern accent throughout and I didn't even know he was from the south. This movie is like Troy with brad Pitt which he is there for eye candy and thats what they did with Tatum here so I guess its good to take a chic to see and maybe get her engine started so you can take for a drive but there are better options out there. the directing is so bad to where there are about 50 tribesmen chasing down 2 men on horses and staying with them all while on foot. the chase scene reminded me of vintage porn films that would loop the same scene over and over to prolong the scene. and then they explained how the people on foot where able to take shortcuts and thats how they were able to keep up. anyways then we get to a point were Tatum is left alone with the eagle and he can barely walk so he is left behind while his former slave ( forgot his name, axhem i think} went to get help all this while the tribesmen where still on their tail. anyways axhem finally returns with what is about 12 former 9th legion roman soldiers so they are then confronted by what you would originally think is 8-12 tribesmen but turns out to be the whole original 50 or so. so from the start it was a bad battle scene and as it progresses we see that the 12 roman soldiers are dropping like flies, i see at least 3 or 4 dropped by one guy so it seems. now it seems all thats left is Tatum who all of a sudden has no limp and a ton of energy and axhen and they somehow win the battle and protect the eagle blah blah blah. i do like the ceremony of the burning of the fallen roman soldier and how they both avenged their father's honor. at the end there is pointless dialog and Tatum has his life threaten injury agitate him off and on in the final sequence. i know there was more i was upset about but cant remember ATM but i don't want to see that movie again so i'll just leave it with this. again great story, bad acting, and bad directing.
The American (2010)
this movie was so bad
this movie was so bad i was compelled to sign up on this site to write this and warn others before they too were disappointed. this movie got a 6.6 out of 10 before i voted and thats all just clooney or that hot chic violante placida (sry if i spelled wrong).this movie just beat around the bush about what role clooney actually had. OK i wasn't sure if clooney was an assassin, or a spy, or a technician, or a mule. he had some people out to kill him and they're never too clear as to why exactly. then there's a poor looking car chase with a bang you're dead and done. actually all the gun scenes were wham bam done. no climax, or thrills during the "action" scenes. OK dialog was poor not much said or explained in this flick. basically its a love story of an assassin and a hooker with some gun scenes. the ending was predictable but the finish was horrible i hate that cut the end junk like sopranos. anyways the love scenes were great give that 10/10 and that chic violante is my new crush mmmmm i love her. they should make a boogie nights 2 and make violante the new roller girl. thats violante my new heather graham. anyways i hope this review was entertaining for you. if so let it be known. thanks
