Three Times Daley (1976)
Very funny
Still remember sitting in the den of my childhood home watching the pilot. It was hysterical. Everything about it was funny...the writing, the acting.
Admittedly I was a big Get Smart fan, so I was hoping for the best. As I recall, the premise was three generations - son, father, grandfather - of a family named Daley dealing with each other. And for some reason I think they all worked (or had worked) at newspapers.
Was very surprised and disappointed when it wasn't picked up. I'm sure some smart TV exec had his reasons.
Now I'm just writing more to get the minimum of ten lines of text for the review to be official.
Biography: Led Zeppelin: A Rare Alchemy (2004)
Superficial
There is nothing interesting here. No story line. It's just a jumble of disconnected facts. Lots of archival footage just to kill time; it rarely has anything to do with what the narrator is saying. All of the interviews just repeat how great the band was and how much influence they've had on rock and roll. I think we all know that going in. Absolutely NOTHING about any of their songs, or even generally about how the songs were written. Well, not completely. In the last 30 seconds - just prior to rolling the credits - they tell you where the first line of Stairway to Heaven was created. You will get more googling for a half hour.
