And here we go again... The movies I've seen for the first time in 2014.

As always, if anyone has any suggestion/question/would like to discuss any of these films, leave a comment. :)

An iconic filmmaker and actor. Woody Allen has done a bit of everything. Most often found in comedy or drama, his work has something of a classic feel (even his more modern film). Here's the list of my Woody Allen views from best to worst (and I stress this is my opinion, because I know a lot of people will find my choices unpopular).

A list of Japanese films I've seen. A list that will hopefully continue to grow.

One of the most unpredictable directors in that he seems to make a little bit of everything, and can go from mainstream to utterly bizarre at the drop of a hat. Here's the list of my Takashi Miike views from best to worst (in my opinion).

a list of 14 titles
A list of all Korean films I’ve seen. Nowhere near as large as the Japanese list ( http://www.imdb.com/list/aHGMIpqyQgw/ ), but like it, hopefully this one will continue to grow.

A list of French language films I've seen. A list that will hopefully continue to grow.

a list of 55 titles
I've been running an elimination game in the Film General board where a director's films are put against each other until there is only one film left. The following are the winners thus far:

Note: All of these were the winners of the polls. I do not agree with all the choices, but these were the choices of the FG board.

One of the classic directors of Japanese cinema, Yasujirô Ozu focused on family dramas. While I haven't seen the majority of his films (and several are sadly lost), he's rapidly becoming one of my favorite directors.

a list of 23 titles
I'm a big fan of Kurosawa (He's my favorite director) and I've seen a good portion of his films. As I love the idea of these best to worst lists, here is my presentation on Kurosawa.

Note: As mentioned above I have not seen all of them. The list will be adjusted when I see more (and I will try to find them all.)

a list of 74 titles
I'm something of a fan of anime (and animation in general) and the following is a list of every anime show I've seen. This is currently a work in progress.

If anyone has any recommendations, please feel free to post a comment.

On shows with multiple seasons, I will list what seasons I've seen.

(Movies will not be included. This is TV series only)

a list of 15 titles
One of the great directors to experiment with film. Here's all my Bergman views from best to worst (in my opinion).

And here we go again... The movies I've seen for the first time in 2013.

Widely considered to be the greatest director of all time, here' my reactions on the best Kubrick to the worst.

Note: I have not seen all of his films yet. I'm still missing a few, so the list will be adjusted when I see more (and I will try to find them all).

A personal favorite of mine despite his hit and miss track record. I present the Burton's films from best to worst.

Note: No Nightmare Before Christmas as Burton didn't direct it.

Another Note: I have not seen all of his films yet (including Edward Scissorhands). I'm still missing a few, so the list will be adjusted when I see more (and I will try to find them all).
