Boring and cringy
7 May 2024
This series is terrible, save yourself hours of your life. I gave it 5 episodes hoping it would improve, joke was on me.

The characters are full, their interactions with each other and others are cringy, awkward, boring, and very unrealistic. The premise itself is dumb, the missions, how they were selected, the company giving as few details about a mission as possible. Makes total sense.

Episode 5 has a chase a shoot scene with is ridiculous. Never seen so many missed shots in all my life. And the convenience of their safe house is laughable. I think they were aiming That was the last straw, lazy writing, stupid plot, bad action. This series is really really bad.

Discount Everything
7 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The high reviews are definitely paid. This show is garbage.

There isn't an original thought or theme in this story down to the farm and the justice union.

The acting is really really bad.

The costumes are ridiculous looking, especially the villains.

"The Code" is dumb and doesn't even make sense to itself. Don't kill even if it means millions of others will die. Prison is the answer.

The daughter is every stereotype of rebellious teen with daddy issues.

Special effects are super low budget.

This is painful to watch.

House of Lies (2012–2016)

Going downhill and picking up speed.
2 August 2020
Started off good. Now it's just an endless loop of crappy people, doing crappy things, and then complaining and confused by why things never work out for them and why their lives are crappy.

Seriously can't get behind any of these characters. Not a single character has grown or learned even a little. I hope they all crash and burn.

The other problem with this show is that it tries so hard to be edgey by endless offensive and sex jokes, and sex scenes. I get it's an adult show, not the complaint, it's over the top. Try keeping your viewers interested with a decent plot as well.

Treadstone (2019)

He's and agent, she's an agent, everyone's an agent.
12 January 2020
I'm beginning to wonder if I might be an agent at this point. It's like the writers were like plot twist, you're and agent, plot twist this person's not dead anymore. This story is way to convoluted. It endlessly bounces around between times and characters.

In regards to the Bourne universe, it isn't doing it any justice. Treadstone is supposed to breed super soldiers, who have no remorse and follow orders without conscience. This Treadstone sucks, these soldiers get one up'd regularly and question everything and everyone. Where are the Gary Stus and Mary Sues. That's what Treadstone is all about.

Good - way to long. A bit disturbing.
9 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
First of all way to long, should've been two episodes shorter.

Here's what I see. A bunch a troubled kids being taken advantage to feed some woman's ego. Seems to me like Monica picks a type of kid, talented yes, but craving a "last chance", desperately needing to fit in, or have a parental figure in their lives. She uses this to push these kids beyind their limits. Not in a good way, the rate at which these kids injure themselves is disturbing and her indifference for their well being is alarming. She plays it off like I don't need to be here I have an MBA, I here for my you, they are like my kids. You're not fooling anyone. She burns through these kids like paper.

Gabbies parents are milking their daughter for all she is worth and trashy, enough said.

The show is cheesy as hell
8 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It seriously gets worse the more you watch it. Every episode is like a bad parody. The background music sucks, Yoda is way over played. The last episode attempts some weak storm trooper humour, the best part of the series is that Yoda gets punched in the face.

To nurse and protect!

Show is slipping every episode.
15 December 2019
Started off ok, every episode I like it less. I get we don't want a Gary Stu here, but seriously, the Mandalorian is constantly getting beat down and his weapons and ship suck. Supposed to be a legend, not seeing it anywhere. He's weak and gets lucky more than anything. The Guild backstory is weak, character development is seriously lacking. Disney is way over playing the cute Yoda card.

The episodes are coming off like bad parodies. Episode 4 is like a bad Avatar, or dancing with Wolves. Episode 5 is like a discount suicide squad. The acting in this episode is terrible.

Story is really going downhill season 5 and 6
21 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This whole Reddington is an imposter story is super crappy.

Liz is angry at him for what, ALWAYS, saving her life and not having her live with the memory that she killed her real dad? Like what a jerk, right? He didn't have to do any of that. She abandoned her daughter for this stupid quest(lame way if writing the kid out of the show), becomes just like reddington and hates him him because if who he is. The whole story is full of contradictions and nonsense as these writers try and extend a show beyond its story.

And her half sister is just a dumb, leave me alone I'm a nobody. Now she is like let's get him and road trip to danger. And why is she mad at Reddington? Again not her real dad. So he WASN'T the guy who abandoned her. So he is not responsible for her mom's death, and he was never in your life.

Time to move on.

Well written Unique characters and humor
27 June 2019
This show is really well written, I was actually surprised at how good the humir is. It's not gut wrenching, it's clever and more importantly it's unique. I hate the repeat situational comedies. The characters are different and stay true throughout the whole show. The acting is also really good.

Just a mismash of bad story and continuity errors.
14 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The story/stories are terribly written, bottom line. The acting is terrible.

First of all, the entire plot hinges on Xavier's big mistake of not telling an 8 year old girl who can't control her powers that her Dad hates her and doesn't want her. He also took her in and gave her a home, what a jwrk, all of humanity should die. This is not a mistake and for some reason it takes Jean the entire movie to realize this, even though she can read minds.

The whole side plot with the aliens is garbage and about an inch deep. Every time the alien is about to get what she wants she makes a stupid comment to anger someone and they fight back.

The other side plot, with the government all of a sudden changing its mind on mutants after all they've achieved (X-Men are hero's now) because of a small incident is stupid. And the trigger (the police) how did they get to the house the same time as the xmen, how did they even know about it, who would have even called the police? Totally forced to create unnecessary conflict, and then the story is completely dropped.

Jean goes to Magneto to ask him how he stopped killing (even though she has only "killed" two people both by accident). He tells her he just decided not to kill, difficult concept to get I guess

The X-Men want to murder Jean then they all flip and are going to die for her.

Also magneto goes to kill Jean fully knowing her power and brings 3 other people with him. And to block the house instead of using the hundred cars and a bus right out front he pauses during a battle and pulls a subway up from underground. Just stupid.

Starts off strong....
17 May 2019
The movie starts off strong with some great fights, but then it drops off into what seems endless story. When the action picks up again the fights seem to go on way too long, and are very repetitive. Some of the long fights at the end are amazingly choreographed though. I will say this as, I hated it when in a fight the guy(s) can kill John they stop and give him another chance to kill them (not die) it happens several times. I also hated that at one point John basically begs for his life - John bows to no man who threatens him. In the first two movies the fights are exaggerated but have a strong sense of realism to them (that's what makes them awesome), this movie (in the end fights) begins to slide towards the ridiculous. I think this franchise should've ended here, got a real feeling the writers are trying to squeeze out more than they should from this storyline. Definitely my least favorite of the three, I think the forth one will not be any better.

"Could be or it could be..."
13 May 2019
The narration of this show is absolutely terrible. Never have I heard so many "maybe", "it could be or it could be..", "suggests", "might be"... and on and on, the writer must be a lawyer. The cast will throw some stupid suggestion out there and the narrator annoyingly turns it to a question like it's the most mysterious thing in the world. " This looks like a spear." Narrator "A spear?" Blah blah. Once you hear it you can't unhear it. There are endless recaps in the show; it could easily be a 30 minute series. These guys are tenacious, I'll give them that, they have spent so much money over the last 7 years that I doubt finding the treasure at this point would get them in the black.

Poorly designed.

Way too much talk and backstory, not enough action. The hosts are simply terrible.

Granted the obstacles are unique but they are so contrived that in no way to do they accurately showcase how athletic these people are. Winning is just as much or more about luck as you couldn't possibly train or practice to become good at these.

Way too slow. Endless backstory
1 February 2019
Way too much talk from secondary characters no one gives a damn about. The whole Billy thing is dragged out endlessly. We get it already, do something or go away. This season could easily have been 4 episodes shorter.

Aquaman (2018)
6/10
A little bit of Jurassic park, fifth element, and Pacific rim all in one.
30 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know why people are raving about this movie. Don't get me wrong it's far from bad, and it certainly isn't great by any means. The biggest problem I have with this film is Black Mantis is completely and unnecessary forced into the plot. Most of the major plot holes are around this character. First off his revenge plot is weak, could have been so much better. He and his dad murder innocent people for a living yet the story tries to make you care about his thirst for revenge. The worst though is how he is able to somehow completely (I mean completely) reengineer, reshape, and dramatically enhance technology that the Atlantians gave him and called it state of the art? Also, he must have done it near a black hole because the rest of the story progresses about a couple of days while he does it, oh and he learns how to use it to fight and fly as well. Absurd and unnecessary. Other things that bothered me were, That the comedy was forced, though not bad. Aquaman tries to stop the war by attacking and killing thousands of innocent? The army that is defending their home and don't want war? And why the "king" needs to go to war with the last kingdom before atracking the surface is beyond me, it's not like he follows the rules anyway. Finally humans are in disbelief about a possible Atlantis, yet they live in a universe where superman, wonderwoman and batman are front Page News. Stupid.

Tin Star (2017–2020)

2 episodes in and I'm out.
22 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
First episode is ok everything falls apart in the second episode making it too absurd to continue watching this turd.

First of all, the evil oil Corp, we are going to murder people who are against us plot. Don't know why they care, the permits to build (which they are already building and shipping in workers) wouldn't rest on a small town anyway. If they had to murder everyone who was against them there would be a lot more killing. The Adams family security officer is just ridiculous as well as the oil company female executive. It's like a bizzare-o-world American-Canada.

So chiefs house gets burned and shot up. What does he do? Literally run away. Not call his deputies, or you know head into the police station. Just drives away??

A man boy pro killer shoots one shot, misses and then runs away instead of just finishing what he started??

The assassin is just over the top ridiculous with his stupid dance moves that somehow catch the daughter eye in a bar and she is instantly love struck. How convienient.

The daughter collects and continues to carry a cigarette butt from her house where she saw a strange man watching the house before it was shot up and doesnt tell her dad?

The native Americans who are always standing around with grumpy faces pointing fingers.

The gang, also from London, is able to get instant employment with the oil company and "hide out" without having to actually work because the roads are closed?? Wtf the entire town is held hostage?? Come on.

There's more garbage but I'll end with the daughter, who sneaks from the protective custody following the sound of a flute her dead brother used to play into the woods, at night, get chased, runs further into the woods and then hitches a ride with a complete stranger who just happens to be the man boy killer. Omg kill me now. No need to keep going as this series cannot recover from this mess.

Ryan is a bum and the story is way to PC
1 September 2018
The main character is a loser. Make up your mind Amazon is he a bad ass marine or an analyst. Guy gets his ass kicked really easy, is afraid to pull out a gun, and has really crappy aim. He survives by luck alone - boring. And are you trying to make the audience feel bad for terrorists? See their side of things or justify their cause? Sure feels like it. No culture is perfect but terrorisms is never justified.

So bad I want to give it a negative number. It is utterly ridiculous, the story is nonsense, can't even describe the butchery of the characters, the animation is horrible.
