In No Particular Order

It's easy to tell who my favorite directors from the 70's are just by glancing at this list.
I've got 4 movies directed by Coppola on here (The Godfather Parts I + II, The Conversation, Apocalypse Now), 4 Altman pictures (McCabe & Mrs. Miller, The Long Goodbye, Nashville, 3 Women), 4 by Woody Allen (Bananas, Sleeper, Annie Hall, Manhattan), 3 by Hal Ashby (Harold and Maude, The Last Detail, Being There) and 3 by Polanski (Chinatown, The Tenant, Tess).

Represented by 2 pictures a piece are Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show, Paper Moon), Scorsese (Mean Streets, Taxi Driver), Friedkin (The French Connection, The Exorcist), Peckinpah (Straw Dogs, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia), Kubrick (A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon), Argento (Deep Red, Suspiria), Nicolas Roeg (Performance, Don't Look Now) and Terrence Malick (Badlands, Days of Heaven).
