Criminal Minds: Exit Wounds (2010)
Love for Pen and Derek
I rate the episode 7/10 because of two reasons.
First reason: Penelope and Derek. For me, it was so cute seeing the chemistry between the two. The ending was lovely for once and it ended the episode on a more romantic note, despite the fact that this IS a crime drama.
Second reason: The case itself. There are twists and turns in the plot and I kept assuming that the UnSub was Josh, the motel/hotel/some place's owner's son. The beginning of the episode was good. Very suspenseful indeed. I wish that the locals killed the UnSub, but he was a victim of abuse and all of that, so never mind.
Great episode. My third/fourth favorite for Season 5.
Criminal Minds: Damaged (2008)
An okay episode.
I have to admit that there were too many distinct ideas in the episode. First it's the case, the case with the inmate, Garcia and the other analyst's get-together, and other small details. It would have been better if they mainly focused on Rossi's case since it clearly is the most important.
About Rossi's case: I love how the three siblings denied Rossi's help at first. I mean, why would they accept his help when the family is completely broken and a lot of time has gone by? It created more suspense when they added their last words to him about the gifts. And tada, the case began.
I cried when the oldest of the three kids made Rossi keep the bracelet that belonged to their mom. I also found it sad when they had to take away the poor and helpless old man (who was quite scary in my perspective).
Six out of ten.
Criminal Minds: Solitary Man (2010)
I rate this 8/10. I cried, so that means it touched me emotionally. That's what Criminal Minds is about: emotions. Getting into the minds of the 'bad guys' is the main point.
The plot was good and all; it was quite original. It was creative and I enjoyed it. I won't write any spoilers, but the criminal's love for his child is overwhelming. It's true though, you would do anything for your child.
I enjoyed this episode all in all. I recommend you watch it. Oh, and *slight spoiler* there is a funny scene between Reid and Rossi. It's nice when they add the 'funny' in between the lines of the deadly, psychotic, and sadistic.
