A different perspective
22 October 2023
I've neven seen any of movies since i do not like horrors. I went with my child age 17 since she can not go alone under 18. I tried to watch some movie on my phone, but the sound was too loud for my headphones so i gave up and watched the movie. When we walked home i realized that i watched something that has 9 movies before that that i don't know nothing about. But i had questions, about Amanda and traps, i knew something is off. Lol.

But i liked the movie in a way that i have spent an 40 min walk home and conversation with my child about morality and how it is subjective and subject to comparison of what we believe or not to be better or worse, justified or less justified, and on the basis of which my daughter and I draw conclusions Only thing that was constantly on my mind was that people can not go through this without loss of consciousness.

So i have found some grounds to share my opinions. In first 40 min i aksed my child 10 times "where is the horror" and i was also little bored (maybe way more without context lol). So i took from this movie what i do like to analize and found it very good. I give it a 6 even tho i think i am not compatibile to rate this.

Did is NOT a space movie!
12 March 2023
This is quite a good family drama, with some good psychological moments and reflections on the impact of relationships on mental health and stability. However, it doesn't belong in space. None of these people would pass a psychiatric evaluation, and none of them are stable enough for such an undertaking. Not to mention the absurdity of them actually being on this mission, despite everyone knowing the kind of training and evaluations people have to go through.

On the first day, there is disobedience, a threat to safety, and distrust. As for stereotypes, as real as they may be, they are also true. In another scenario, not in space. I don't think the mentality of someone who grew up under Soviet communism can exist in space (if anyone thinks these are clichés, just look at the USSR's attitude towards Chernobyl). That some nations put the state before the individual (communist ones) is no secret, but a truthful political statement. There's too much personal drama, too much emotion, and too much political agenda for something that's supposed to be a space drama. The plot is predictable. For this to have elements of serious critique and be viewed as a space drama, there should be more natural and less social sciences! Not to mention that this scenario is unbelievable, and, God help us, we hope that these types of people are not the "nation's greatest minds," otherwise we're all in trouble :). And for that reason, I give it a rating of 5.

Could've been better/could've been worse.
9 March 2023
Uf. If i reach out to my phone to "check" things that is a clear sign that i am bored, and i was few times during this. As much as i liked a lot of things and i KNOW that this is called Wednsday for a reason, i just can not get Gomez out of my head. He is disgusting and sooo unlikable and I'm sorry to say it. Zero chemistry between them which is a TRADE mark of him and Mortisha. Overall i prefere Adams Family (i know it is not a competition) maybe i am to old for this. I don't know. Jena phenomenal, effects on point, i really liked the music. I am giving a solid 6.

P. S I never watch things when trending, i wait. Late with the review.

Choice.
9 January 2023
"There is always a choice". It is highly debatable how much one, who has been indoctrinated from an early age, can actually choose freely.

I get the story even tho i can not identify on any level with it. I am antitraditional and i don't like religions. I grow up in a pretty much patriarchal society at the time. I hated it. From an early age. I moved. I raise my children differently. I think different.

That being said, the only thing that i can clearly see here, is that no one, not the father, not both of his wives, or daughters have made a free choice. Because of the tribe. And not much more i can say without offending someone. I don't want to.

Ginny & Georgia (2021– )

What? WHAT?
7 January 2023
Where do i start? As i single mom i CAN NOT connect with Georgia in any way.

1. I am not that pretty.

2. I raised my kids with my 10 fingers (without help) 3. I did not commit a crime 4. I don't trample over people to fulfill my goals 5. I earn my own money 6. I worked on myself every single day I was also young, also stupid. I should've understanding and empathy for her but i just don't.

Yes, i agree with some of the comments, Ginny is to much, selfish, self centred, playing victim all the time even the most of it she is in the wrong. Has really bad patterns. And she did anoyed me most of it. BUT, she turned out just GREAT when u know who raised her. And she pick those behaviours from her mother. Georgia is all of those stuff. Not any emotional support for her kids and their mental helth. Ginny is hurting herself JUST because of Georgia. Austins anxiety and stuff? All Georgia. She did that. She is responsible. Every time, when anyone would point this out, she would play victim card "yes, blame me, i am the worst" bla bla. I hate that role. She, as an adult, CHOSE all of those things including her kids. They did not chose any of it. And because of that i put all the blame on her. "After everything that i have done" is the MOST selfish quilt trpping that have ever exicted. Nobody asked any of it, not the kids, they are NOT responsible for the the things that she did, and she made Ginny feal all the way and all the time that if it wasn't for her, she wouldn't done any of it. It is such a burden for a child to cary. It is so disgusting.

She never was a parent to those kids, she never took full responsability. She never questioned herself. My opinion wouldn't be this strict if she, at any moment, chose to do better, to do differently. I know what life was to hard for her, and i know it is not an easy job to do better, but she has responsabiliy, she is an adult. She is the one that makes choices, she has kids.

There were moments where i felt bad for her, after 10 minutes she kills, blackmail or do felony. I just can not. In order, to what? To survive? Where is the line? Where is the fu*king moral line in this? And i should connect to this caracter? This is an insult to me.

This is what bothers me the most. I will not get started on drugs, sex, alcohol, toxic relantionship and so much more.

Boring
12 July 2022
The actors are unlikeable, there is no chemistry. Dialogues and scenes are too long and boring. There is no real plot. I was extremely bored to watch to the end.

Is there a God to judge this?
10 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I think this is my first review in more than 10 years i'm am on IMDB.

I hate it. I despise Clark. Clark it everything that is wrong with today's world. These pathetic excuses about "saving MY people" when she just did genocide over and over to 'save' ONE fu*kin person SHE loved. No morals and no principles in those characters.

I get it. We DO make bad choices and submit to emotions, that is what humans DO. But Clark? It is beyond pathetic. It is wrong on so many levels over and over again. Every season she had someone that she loved more than anyone else and was willing to kill EVERYONE besides that one.

I really hated her almost the entire series.

This is what i have to say the most. The script is SOOOO bad and pathetic with some IQ30 phrases that goes all over again. People who do the same thing over and over expect different results.

This COULD'VE been a great strory. Different. You can not make heroes out of the preperator of genocide nor do people change from day to day not matter what day has brought.

It was TORTURE for me to continue watching from 5th season until the end. But that is something I just do.

The power of the war !
26 July 2011
For me, one of the best war movies.Shows a harsh reality that at the beginning war.Man loses his family, and understands the impact of the war, go in the hope that it will justify a lot of things ... Shows the full real picture of family relationships, and how then women were treated in cases of rape by the enemy.. they were rejected, worse than worst enemy. The man which would justify the coolness, it helps her, and could not leave her.Saddest scene i've ever seen, her in the river, waiting to be murder by Croatian solider, singing to her child, and the laugh of child, that pretty smile, when it heard the voice of mother..I cried like a little baby...I love that scene,i love the et-no sound from movie... Film shows the worst side of war, all the worst that man can do.In every sense, and they forget the most important in hatred and destruction that had the impact of the war ... A sad story that could have been avoided, only that we tried.Exelente film, a harsh reality!
