Two and a Half Men: The Ol' Mexican Spinach (2014)
Season 12, Episode 1

I finally gave it a chance and it was great!
16 January 2023
I doubt anyone still reads reviews for this show but I wanted to say that I was totally pro Charlie and for the first time ever I'm watching all the Walden episodes. I'm not sure what happened in this final season. Were they cancelled because I think there's only 16 episodes here.

Anyway, aside from the final episode these last few seasons were great! In fact I think they should've made a show dedicated to Walden and perhaps have Barry in it as well.

I was just expecting this to be so much worse and it's really not. Sure it's not Charlie Sheen and the show completely changed direction after Jake grew up but if you loved this show I'd definitely give these episodes a chance!

Not a "Halloween" movie. Still not bad.
28 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It's understandable why so many people hated Halloween Ends. It should've been a epic conclusion. Laurie vs. The Shape/Michael Myers. Blood and gore, Michael as unstoppable as ever. Give the fans what they want. Instead, we were treated to a interesting character study of this kid Corey and how his life was turned upside down because of a accidental death. Everything people are saying about Michael barely being in the movie is absolutely true. And I too wanna know who the heck signed off on this one as being Michael's last hurrah. Sadly he goes out with a whimper. Somehow after surviving Halloween Kills, he's now a pathetic shell of himself. Why? How the heck can Corey overpower him to take his mask? The last ten minutes were great but there was no lead up to that moment because Michael had been hiding up until then.

This film would've made a better addition to the franchise post Michael. After Laurie and her grandmother truly know they're safe. But because it's the last Halloween, people won't see the story within the story sadly. And honestly I can't say I blame them.

So as a movie, I'd say it's a 6.5/7 but as the final Halloween it's about a 3.

So DUMB!!!!
12 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Seriously I could've stayed home and watched a real horror movie. She knows about 30 min into the movie what she needs to do to end the cycle. But no, we go on this ridiculous ride for another 90 minutes until she finally succumbs to this evil creature/entity they never fully explain. I'm not sure who signed off on this movie but the only thing that would've saved it is if she actually defeated this thing. There's nothing wrong with ending on a sour note, but Rose qas so ridiculously pathetic it was hard to have any sort of empathy for her character. What is it with this trend of horror films that aren't scary? It's like how can we disturb you? Disturbing is not horror. I cannot NOT recommend this movie enough. Do NOT waste your time!

A Love Letter to Bowie
18 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not sure I would call "Moonage Daydream" a documentary. It's visually captivating and absolutely a must for every Bowie fan. This movie felt more like a ride than a movie. The HBO documentary Five Years was far superior in terms of a linear examination of the last years of Bowie's life. I went into this expecting or hoping for the same. I wasn't really a fan of Brett Morgan's Nirvana film "Montage of Heck" and I found "Moonage Daydream" to be told in a similar fashion. The only difference is Bowie is my favorite artist of all time. I would say Morgan focused more on "Sound and Vision" than story. My biggest issue with this film is the repeat usage of footage while Morgan failing to cover Bowie from the years 1997-2016. I just think of all the footage from the "Heathen", "The Next Day" and "Black Star" that should've been incorporated instead of showing us clips we had already seen. It made me question if Morgan was the right person for the job. He did manage to squeeze in a few minutes of the "Blackstar" video. But Bowie's triumphant return with "The Next Day" and still managing to offend people with his take on androgyny and religious expression, well into his 60s by now, was left on the cutting room floor. Still, will I see "Moonage Daydream" another 2-3 times? Without question. It's David Bowie on an IMAX screen! So sit back and enjoy the ride!

Best Episode of the Anthology! By Far!
6 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Look, if you've decided you hate Tales no matter what, you'll probably down vote my comment. But this was seriously the best episode so far, by far! I had no idea the kid was the killer. I figured him Mom Amanda was doing it. Again, like all of the episodes this was another character study. These people were set to execute Devon without any proof. I actually felt like it was a commentary on society and how people are automatically considered guilty or being cancelled with no due process. I would highly recommend this episode but again if you're one of those people who expected this to somehow be tied into the original series, you probably just here to hate on positive reviews.

Does anyone even follow timelines anymore?
22 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So this episode occurs after the basement episode. But where's Beta fit into all this? I'm assuming after Dee becomes Alpha? After this episode?

Samantha Morton is incredible don't get me wrong. But the idea she's talking presumably to her mask. Her face covered in blood. Did she just kill Hera and she's about to wear Hera's face for the first time? She didn't have a mask when she met Beta the first time.

I thought she was talking to Lydia in the present time because she's talking about killing Daddy at 9 (in the voice over) For a moment, I was thinking she killed her own Dad. Maybe she did.

Needless to say this episode left me confused. I'll give it another chance but I give the acting a 9 and the writing a 3. 6/10.

15 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 2 was amazing! Blair/Gina. SPOILER****It's an outside the box Groundhog Day episode. Great comedy and self realization. I can't recommend it enough. I immediately rewatched it and it was even better the second time knowing they're stuck in this continuous loop.

An abstract painting pretentious people will love and not know why...
27 July 2022
If someone tells you this film is brilliant, have them explain precisely why. As a film grad, I've watched countless films with deeper meanings and you didn't have to go searching for those meanings on the web. Much like M. Knight, Peele is another one hit wonder.

Why kill Jane? Pointless. Such a shame.
10 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Terrible story and writing. So Marvel brings in The Mighty Thor just to kill her off? I thought the whole reason the hammer went to her was to protect her when each time she used it it made her more sick? They really phoned this one in. They didn't even use The Guardians of the Galaxy effectively. The trailer would have you think they were in the entire movie. This is proof that just because it has Marvel on it doesn't mean it's a automatic hit. Only fan boys will love this movie. I just can't get over how bad the story structure was. Who signed off on that script? I really wanted to love this movie. I'm not even sure I liked it. 5/10 is being very generous.

Just perfect!
27 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Baz has a very unique brand of story telling. If you like his films you'll love Elvis. Surprisingly it doesn't stray too far from the truth. Elvis never fired Parker on stage but he did scream at Barron Hilton in a similar manner. Also Elvis never learned of Parker's past while he was alive. I'm a huge fan of Moulin Rouge and it definitely had that feel to it. Again it's Baz. Either you love him or you don't!

Overall worth the watch!
23 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Jon Favreau might've made a better showrunner for this one. At points I was disappointed with the execution, especially with the score considering Disney's got an allotment of source material they didn't use until the season finale. That said, episode six more than makes up for the previous five episodes. I would say episodes one and six were my favorite. I don't want to give anything away about six but wow! Obi Wan! 🙌

Also a note to down voters... Stop with the hate. There are some excellent (not mine) reviews here and you guys are just hating to hate. If you do this and you know if you do, you are in fact... a moron and most likely live in your mothers basement. May the Force be with you.

22 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode makes up for the entire series! Finally using the original score really helped the episode flow. I'm still not sure how I feel about Reva. Also I'm still not sure how she survived last weeks episode. I get the feeling this isn't the last we'll see of Obi Wan. I hope Jon Favreau is the showrunner moving forward.

Lastly down voters didn't even watch this episode I'm sure. My comments are for fans not people who are just hating to hate.

15 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Probably the best episode since Ep. 1, but it really doesn't go anywhere. Beginning to realize there wasn't enough here for a series. I can't say I'm excited for the conclusion next week. Is Third Sister dead? I'm assuming so. The flashbacks were cool but it was obvious they were shot recently as both McGregor and Hayden Christensen have aged. I'm hoping this is the prequel series to the real series.

Holy Plot! Or lack there of...
8 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The pacing is far too slow for a six episode series. Even more, the plot has taken a turn for the worse. When did this become a interrogation of Leia? I thought the entire reason for kidnapping her was to get to Obi Wan? Vader has been wasted in this one. Probably should've started with Maul. Lastly how do they not play the imperial march aka Vaders theme? The score is dreadful. It's a shame Jon Favreau isn't running this one.

Mother Puss Bucket?
28 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I really did enjoy the episode. It provided a deeper dive into the shady side of the Common Wealth. I wish there was a way for someone to answer this question but you've got this drug maker who's getting paid by Hornsby but what the heck is he going to spend it on? For 11 seasons of The Walking Dead, there has been no reason for currency of any kind and why would there be? I understand there's currency in the Common Wealth but these drug dealers were on the outside. I think we all knew Stephanie was fake Stephanie and Milton's assistant was the real Stephanie but why? I guess we'll find out soon. Overall it was more than a filler episode. It's moving the story along even though the main characters weren't in it.

For fans or horror and the Foo!
25 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This film was a lot of silly fun! Very campy! I think the goal was to kill off everyone creatively gory! Though it's a horror, it's all comedy. So if you're a fan of the Foo fighters and campy horror flicks with bad dialogue, you'll love it! If you go in expecting to see brilliant performances by seasoned actors, then this film isn't for you. I'm a big Foo fighters fan and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I will see it again this weekend! And the new music is great!

Wasted opportunity
12 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It felt like a extended episode of a new Sopranos series. Which is probably what it should've been. It had a untraditional narrative. Felt like the ending was forced. What's the pinky promise at the end? Even through it all, we're still not sure why Tony decided to follow in Dickie's footsteps. No repercussions for Harold or Uncle Junior. Just like a episode. Not a movie. I wanted to love it. There was so much they could've done to tow this into the ending of the original.

A long 4 months to go...
3 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It was an excellent episode if you get past the fact they ended on a major cliff hanger. I was expecting the Reapers story arch to wrap up and the Commonwealth to show up at Alexandria. I didn't expect Pope to die so quickly but you almost have to catch him off guard because I don't think even Darrel could take him. I am kinda curious what's going to happen to Dog now that Leia is a bad guy! I can't wait until February!

This is turning out to be the best season since Season 4! This episode was painful to watch but so good. That pre credit ambush was like nothing we'd ever seen! I thought Cole was going to be around a lot longer. The horse scene was so sad but understandable. I think Alden is going to be captured and killed. Curious to see what happens with Maggie and Negan.
