It's been some time since I've seen an amazing nature documentary.
Being a traveller myself and always longing to get to those hidden and
raw parts of our world, this show allowed me to discover all over again
how amazing, unpredictable and fascinating our planet can be. And this
time instead of watching mammals, birds, insects or plants we get to
see people, living and surviving in the most unusual conditions.
I have so far seen 4 episodes and each and one of them I have watched with my mouth wide open, quite a refreshing reaction after having thought nothing in this world could surprise me any farther.
Camera work is stunning, John Hurt's voice soothing and stories fresh and sometimes shocking (hence rated 16). The bonus is last 10 minutes of every episode where crew is interviewed and all their hard work shown, it makes a great addition to the series as after seeing "Blue Planet" one has always wondered: how did they film this?
