I have read the whole series of these books, and I loved them! However, as usual Hollywood has ruined these witty, quirky and well written books. (PS I love You need I say more).
The story is set in New York (shocker) instead of London and follows the world of shopping and love around the central character Rebecca Bloomwood.
Isla Fisher is far too slapstick and squeaky and not at all based on the character in the book, who every woman who's credit card bill has left a dent in the hall floor could relate to.
Poor acting, poor plot, poor film.
Read the books, you'll laugh, cry and need a good shop.
