Shaped my childhood nightmares
13 March 2003
Oh my gosh, how scary is this film? I first saw it when I was about six, and I only remember the hand coming through the wall to strangle the woman in bed, and the body falling out of a cupboard. This was enough to make me stay away from cupboards and beds for many years to come! I saw it again recently and found it more comical this time around, especially Bob Hope's performance, but I'm still scared of cupboards!

Out of Sight (1998)
way underrated
10 March 2003
Having read the previous comments on this movie, I thought I should put my view across. This is the best film like, EVER! Okay, so that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's still a great film. I cannot fault the script, the direction, or the acting. You can almost see the chemistry between George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, it's that good. The use of colour is also good, from the cold blues of Detroit, to the warm reds and browns of Karen's hotel room. Plus, any film in which George Clooney strips to his underpants has got to be good!
