Stealth (2005)

What more could you ask for?!
2 August 2005
Warning: Spoilers
After having seen Stealth, I came out of the theater with a huge grin on my face. I loved this movie and when it comes out on DVD, I am buying it. The acting was good, but did fall flat in some places I must admit. I thought that Jamie Foxx was great as usual and that Jessica Biel was not at her best, but she was good as usual nonetheless. Josh Lucas is new to most, but I think this is the movie that will propel his career. The chemistry that he and Jessica Beil showed was great and the end scene with the two of them on the carrier was almost perfect. I think that a kiss between them after she called him a wimp would have made it the perfect ending. The action sequences were wonderful. I thought the movie was going to be too flashy, as movies of this nature can be, but it was just right. The plot was good overall. I was glad to see that they did not do the usual thing of making the plane bad for the whole movie and then they destroy it at the very end. I loved that fact that the more Tin-man learned the more he realized right from wrong and became the ultimate hero in the end. I was also happy to see that they did not spend the entire movie chasing a renegade plane, but had a solid plot line behind the chase with plenty of development. I would highly recommend this film to anyone who loves action films. It was one of the best films I have seen all summer.

God Awful!
10 March 2005
I had to see this film because my Film History 2 professor made us watch it. My professor told us that he had just come across Joao and he loved this film and he loves all of the films he has seen by him. I have no idea why though. In my opinion this was three hours of nonsense. I sat there confused the entire time. The only thing I understood about the plot was the part about his son and even that has it's holes. I also think he is kind of a copy cat because I saw many of the same sexual things that Godard did in his films. In fact, by the end of this film I felt like I had just finished watching a Godard film. I came out of class feeling confused and disgusted. I do not recommend this film to anyone unless they love Extremely slow moving films, subtitles, and a completely confusing plot. The other reason I found this film hard to watch was because it was in Portuguese and I speak some Castillion Spanish so that combined with the English subtitles drove me nuts. I think most people won't find this a problem, but I did. Again I do not recommend this to anyone. I thought the independent film "The Item" was the worst movie I had ever seen, but then I saw this one. I hope this saves a lot of people from the same torture I had to endure.

Close Second To Worst Movie Ever!
18 July 2004
This film could have been done much better and I was very sad to see that it was made in 2000 and the special effects were so horrible. This should not be under the genre of horror. It should be under special interest so that you don't get the wrong impression. The flash backs could have been done better as well. In a lot of them he looked even older than his mother did and that's just wrong. OMG!!! When he shot Collette with the riffle that was the worst shooting scene. You could not even see the bullet wound and the wound would have been far larger than it was. Also she would have been bleeding much worse than she was. Though I must say this was FAR better than the worst movie in history, "The Item."

Simply Amazing!
22 April 2003
This show was one of the best shows ever. My mom and I watched it to gether. It was something new and exciting. It was lots of fun. Roundhouse had the best music. I loved the theme song. I still remember the theme song and some episodes, which proves how much I liked this show. I was nine when it was on and now I'm 19 and I wish it was still on b/c it didn't matter what age you were. That's how great a show it was. The acting on there was fanominal! They were all so great.
