The Path to 9/11 (2006)
Fair, beautiful, insightful
Very well written, excellent cinematography, extremely fair/insightful dialogue.
The plot moves along quite well, the characters were fleshed out (some very well done), no cheap cliff-hangers.
Some repeated themes (e.g., local/indigenous music being played on the streets of the scene at hand -- which also informs the urgency of how this part of the movie unfolds), including some gorgeous cinematography of colors/scenery in the middle east (especially where the freedom fighters in Afghanistan against bin Laden lived and died).
There is more than one hero in the flick; more than one person or inter-agency infighting that caused paralysis/inaction.
The ending was particularly well done. We know the ending. This movie was respectful, all the while being artful, even beautiful in how they touched the heart with certain persons as focal points at the end At the end, not much dialog, just images, and some unobtrusive music, and -- a pit in the bottom of your stomach.
Very fair. Very much worth seeing.
