Fast Five (2011)
A Devoted Fast & Furious Fan Reviews 'Fast Five'
The new 2011 Fast & Furious movie entitled 'Fast Five' offers a surprisingly satisfying mix of heart-racing action, compelling storyline and characters who you genuinely care for and support from beginning to end, along with the talented cast to play each role and make you believe you really are on the streets of Rio.
From the start of the film until the ending credits, I completely suspended my disbelief, and I found myself pulled deeper and deeper into the story of Dom, Brian and Mia as they are on the run in Brazil. The film opens and is continually threaded with iconic heist and getaway scenes you would expect from a film from the Fast & Furious franchise, yet it also has some ridiculously exciting shoot out scenes as well, which will tickle any gun lover's fancy.
I think the only missing element from the film is the appearance of more scantily-clad women. Sure, there were some stunning actresses in this film, such as Elsa Pataky and Gal Gadot, but there was plenty of room to show more classic scenes of racer babes, or display a gaggle of gorgeous models alongside the prime antagonist of the film.
