The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Chris Nolan has r-e-a-l-l-y outdone himself again this time. An amazing story that I don't even know who else could write such a treatment on the World's Greatest Detective, the crowning glory of Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.
I remember I once made a joke to myself a long while ago about him that if he was going to make another movie, he would probably cast Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's respective love interests from a movie of which they BOTH starred in and worked on-- 10 Things I Hate About You.
It would be ironically funny how both actors are connected to each other from working at different times with the "holy-moly mind-blowing" filmmaker and that the actresses that played their love interests would possibly too as well.
Beautiful Creatures (2013)
Bewitched Meets Footloose and Carrie
I felt that when I read the book and saw the movie, I could see a very good blended mix of Footloose and Carrie where in a Southern American town that is full of religiously corrupt and insane God-fearing people treat someone new like they're nothing but dirt or a disease when that person has NOT even done a single thing to them and they don't even give a flying chicken butt.
*) Family of witches/warlocks . . . Bewitched *) Small town full of religiously insane people . . . Footloose *) New girl is treated like spit (bullied without remorse) . . . Carrie
I feel that in places like this in America (real or fiction) should be purged of all the people with their insane beliefs and they can all go join where all the goblins go, down below.
