The Mechanic (2011)
Full of Actions
The Mechanic is a great action movie. Jason Statham shows his skills, because he is the mechanic. His plans are intelligently made. I really liked what he is going for. But on supporting role, Ben Foster is not so good. Maybe he acted well, but his role isn't so well-written. Come on, you can't expect from anyone who had some school fights in his entire life, to be a mechanic. But he plays very professional on the missions. This side of the movie seemed incorrect to me. But generally, i liked how things were handled by Jason Statham. Also production was good. The scenes were directed smoothly and impressively. We can all expect the sequel for this movie. It would be great. Because the final, that i sincerely loved, wasn't enough.
This movie is the most idiotic production i have ever seen. If you think you have much much time to kill, try this movie. Completely disaster. After seeing historical characters, i said to myself "It's OK. I can learn about history a little.". But, no. It keeps making fun with it. Just fun. It humiliates historical characters. I really liked the effects. But the fiction is completely irrelevant. Actors are so bad, i just wanted to wait whats gonna happen after that scene. But the scenes were kept worse. Also the behaviors of two lead actors are so annoying, i hated 80s&90s which i definitely love it. Also the music. My entire life passed by listening iron maiden, led zeppelin songs. This movie does not have right to use them in very irritating way. It could be great. Because the script is something good. But I can say this without any hesitations, "DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE." I would be sorry for your time.
Outstanding Direction, Sound Editing and Unique Script
This movie is one of the most different pictures in history. But different good. I definitely suggest the comic book fans to see that movie. But with moderate expectations, not high. I watched with minimum expectations. And I liked it. M. Night Shyamalan shows his vision. The scenes are perfectly directed. Soundtracks perfectly fit in the movie. Some of people may not prefer to go deep during a specific scene, but we see these scenes a lot in this production. The theme songs are along with these scenes. But the ending is a little disappointed. "Two well-known actors" choice of M. Night Shyamalan is replacing this disappointing with "it's OK". Both Willis and Jackson show their nice performances.
