Hell or High Water (2016)
FINALLY a movie about rural America without judgment
FINALLY a movie about rural America without judgment warning: Do not Miss this classic... 100 years from now this movie will still be a must watch classic for social commentary. every frame of this film captures real America in current moment of time. you can interpret your own views in every frame its not preachy, mostly (excluding few chit chat between Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham).
to every east coast and west coast American kind request: watch this movie
first the brothers (Ben Foster &Chris Pine)both deserve Oscar nomination at least elder brother (Ben Foster)deserves a Oscar win for sure he lives the role so honestly you don't cry or feel good at the end . only a honest performance can give that moment of vacuum when it happens .salute
democracy is a living dream we have to cherish it every moment and start any point of view from respect to fellow citizens and not, by judging them
cinematography deserve an Oscar- remember not a single flower or scenic romantic scene but every frame captures pathos with respect
this movie is not a poverty porn ,cameraman deserves a huge credit for this .
Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham are too good ..their performance no comment will fully explain their performance just sit back and enjoy
Hollywood badly need more real movies like this if they /we forget to respect this gem of movie we will be punished with more stupid movies every time we spend 10 $ in am movie hall
first time decent song and dance drama
can bring more characters but needs better plot lines for episodes more dance number
Indian movies are pioneers of song and dance the writers and director should watch maniratnam /shankar directed songs and old directors like Baratiraja ,K balachandar or dance director prabudeva for inspirations and have more dance numbers
Hollywood is poor. extremely poor in making dance numbers in movie/TV they still copy plot and compositions for dance numbers from 1930 . no innovations zero creativity when it comes to dance numbers . so i hope this show explores more in this unexplored song/dance genre
Citizen X (1995)
important movie - shocking but salute to cops
it tells the hardship cops endure during work . respect to the cop Viktor Burakov, sometimes we forget what cops suffer personally and professionally to bring justice ..must watch
the emotions and impact the case has on the cop is shown clearly
how patience and tireless cops worked to beat a failing system is a tragic tale of justice even in today's world
we need more cops like Viktor Burakov,
HBO is miles ahead of most TV Channels- deserves a credit to always strive for pioneering work on real stories
but please not for the viewers with faint heart .shocking
reflections of a disturbed mind
Interstellar - a philosophical argument for the beauty of science and the human mind. And it doesn't stop here.... the film maker politely requests the need for the young and restless to invest time ( and gravity if needed) on science.
its not really a typical science fiction movie director trying to prove he can use the latest graphics and collect extra money using the scam called 3D and irritate our eyes for 3 hours.
its a like nice simple book which only always simply use words to describe the human mind or the entire universe or a small kids anger..
like any other great movie he (nolan ) just uses simple visuals (image and simple sound) to explain simple science and injects his frustrations and hopes for a better use of the human mind.
its a movie i want the kids of today to watch when they find time to see it .........even after if that time is after 40 years :)
Pain of love has never been captured on screen like this in cinema
its a relatively low budget movie which no one wanted to release first for its strong emotional content.
but it went on to become the biggest blockbuster of the that year its a experience which should be felt the music by illayaraja is a most important character in the movie since most of pain in this love story is expressed in the music of movie even if you don't like the 1 st half ...... wait for the second half you will not be disappointed ...instead you will see the one of the masterpiece in tragedy ever made on screen
Pain of love has never been captured on screen like this in cinema warning : see with sub titles for people who don't have patience to wait for the second half ( yes 2nd half you don't need sub titles )
war is a senseless act of so called civilized men
its a movie trying to make all the grown ups feel ashamed of how little we have in our self the virgin thoughts which we ourselves had when were kids.. infinite unconditional love, trusting your parents, trusting your friends without regrets, all in 1 hour 35 minute with very few words and wonderful acting and directing . its a movie made on belief of showing very few shots and expressing all the compassion and humanity of the every viewer on screen mirroring their childhood. its a mirror of any human being's childhood . our transition of us being selfless children/kids to a reasonable / civilized man . those infinite number of questions we have about why grown ups do certain unreasonable/unbearable things - (eg:war) with lots of reasons(eg:religious and racial conflicts).
its a movie any human being should watch its a movie i want my kids to watch to learn what 's history of world war is?, with out a single drop of blood being shed and why innocence and humanity are the only precious things human beings should cherish until they survive in this planet.
