Purvos (2006 Video)

Not too bad for what it is........

I got this as part of the Tomb Of Terrors set. The story centers around women being murdered in their bathtubs by a guy in a clown mask. In the mix is sleep disorder clinic. Apparently, the women dying are dreaming of their deaths. The male doctor has a patient who is having the dreams and wants to do further research, but the patient is the ex-girlfriend of the female doctor. The police refuse to believe the dream theory, so the female doctor begins her investigation.

Shot on video the picture is not that bad. There is plenty of nudity although some of it is dead and parts of weird dreams. There are outtakes during the credits and there was an actual crew shooting this, not just some guy with a hand-held.

That is about the only reason to watch. Several pole dancing striptease scenes with some sort of story of a demon skull thrown in. Once the action moves to the house of witches/demon worshipers/whatever it does pick up some. There is a fairly long scene with a couple of very attractive ladies swimming naked in a pool. The scene where the girl is cut all over to bleed into a cup was interesting. The blood ran down her body and was collected as it dripped off of her vagina (in close-up). There has got to be some symbolism in there somewhere.

Use the fast forward button for most of the movie, but worth a look to see what some people will put on film.
