A terrific show
Firefly is a great space western. It's too bad that it didn't last longer than it did, because it has well developed characters out of any TV show I've seen. It basically focuses on a ragtag crew (Each has their own distinct personality and talents). Their job is to smuggle goods and battle those who are after them in order to survive the alliance government. It's all about survival, they'll do whatever job they need to in order to make it through. There's also a lot of epic action scenes in Firefly, holding my attention. Unlike precious Sci fi epics like Star Wars, there are no alien like creatures in Firefly. Instead, it's just people all the way through. While Firefly isn't something that your kids should be watching, due to some suggestive content, I personally believe that it has class. The adult moments are in there, but it isn't so gory that I want to turn away. Plenty of good scenes and how the Serenity crew behaves as a family balances it out.
Kaylee is my favorite crew member, because of her happy outlook on life. I love how she ditches the role of a stereotypical girly girl and works as Serenity's engineer. She's definitely someone I would want to be around.
The inside of Serenity is impressive as well. I love the design of it. Especially in the kitchen and Kaylee's room.
All in all, a terrific show that really does need to come back. 10/10. I recommend it. Watch Firefly if you're 16 and over, because it is a drama for adults, but if you're of age it's a really good one.
Frozen is now my first favorite Disney movie. I watched this on vacation and I left feeling satisfied. The characters are well developed, especially Elsa, who's my favorite. In a way she's like me because we both struggle inwardly but then we learn to overcome it. The animation is stunning and beautiful, especially in the snow and ice castle sequences. Another thing that makes Frozen stand out is the message the love from your family can sometimes be better than romantic love. Anna learns this after a while, and the sisterly bond that she shares with Elsa grows. The soundtrack is great as well, I love Let it go and For the first time in forever. I recommend this movie. Frozen deserves to be right in there with the Disney classics.
