Britannia High (2008–2009)

What a terrible show!

Let me just say, unlike most people, I wanted to like Britannia High, I really did. But after watching the first episode let me just say that if you tune into this, be prepared for a cheesy clichéd sub-par version of Fame. It was just terrible. The characters:

There is a bitchy mean girl, a shy, talented girl and a cute, caring talented guy. Hmmm...where have we seen THAT before? The sets are OK but the acting? Meh.

On the whole Britannia High is a very bad show and I would be happy if it got cancelled tomorrow, as there are so many quality shows that could be on at this time, yet people have to watch this. It has been done to death and I rate it 2 out of 10.

She's the Man (2006)

Absolutely Fantastic

I had heard of this movie for a while before I watched it but one night I was feeling ill and needed something to take my mind off of it. And it sure did. I was laughing so hard my belly hurt, and the laughs aren't just one offs, the movie is pack full of them. Amanda Bynes is great as usual, Emily Perkins has a small but hilarious role and the movie is just great. If you are put off by the fact that it is a teen movie (it has a couple of tampon jokes.) then don't be, because it has fun and clever humour by people who were born to be funny. Give it a chance and you will love it.

Phineas and Ferb (2007–2024)

Refreshing and Funny

Now, when I heard that Disney had a new cartoon coming to our screens my first thought was "Oh god no!" but after I heard Ashley Tisdale was voicing one of the characters, I decided to take a look, and I'm glad I did. It's not just your sub-standard Disney show, it's original and frankly it's hilarious! The jokes are funny and the characters are likable. It brings something new to the table and every episode will make you laugh. My favourite character is Perry the platypus, who has a secret that would blow owners Phineas and Ferb away. Seriously, if this is on, watch it, you will not be disappointed. Oh and P.S, watch out for Ferb's adorable accent!
