I like a variety of films from dramas, classics, largely crime films specifically gangster movies (my favorite movie genre) to action and horror as well as since childhood being a HUGE fan of comic book/superhero films. Here you will also find many cult classics and films that I find underrated and truly believe to be amazing. For my favourite film I can not decide between The Godfather or The Godfather Part II both of which are the greatest films ever made. This is my preference of good cinema, my top 250.

What makes an ending emotional? The themes of the film built up to a tragic climax, a saddening score, and in depth emotional performances. Perhaps it's an end of a trilogy, the final time you will see your beloved characters. Perhaps it's a bittersweet goodbye. Never the less an emotional ending is one where your attachment to these characters comes to a definitive conclusion.

Ranking Superman's cinematic adventures from the classic Christopher Reeve film directed by Richard Donner, it's outstanding sequel (half) directed by Richard Lester, it's underrated and character driven tribute film Superman Returns and the spectacular franchise reboot, Man of Steel. The less said about Superman III and IV, the better.

Bay takes a lot of criticism, his movies are made to entertain pure and simple. His films are not artistic or classics (except maybe The Rock) and as a film geek I'm not necessarily a huge fan of big budget high octane action films. But his skill for crafting these sequences are unrivaled. However I will say I'm no fan of Transformers.
