The first of a biyearly favourite-actresses-ranking
(the first male-equivalent-edition TBA January 1st 2014);
this list will mainly tell how influential the presence of a certain actress can be when I choose something newly made for a screen nearby.
(Can be!; ofc there also are other factors considered when chosing!).

All actresses are slowly fluctuating somewhere in a 10-category like this:
10 – actress – outstanding
9 – /model – awesome
8 – actress – very good
7 – /model – well done
6 – model/ - good'esh
5 – actress – ok
4 – model/ - nah
3 – actress – meh
2 – model – awful
1 – /not – crap

There's also the important future-excitement rating
(based on their performances/potential etc so far,
and not their confirmed or rumoured upcoming projects):
5*-scale for that one:
***** - 5 - imba
**** - 4 - very
*** - 3 - some
** - 2 - a bit
* - 1 - frak off

Combined I'll use this for the actress-tiers overview
and a personal top-250 ranking as of end 2012.

Tier 1: 1-10
(also ranked as 1-10, but then alphabetical inside each tier)
Tier 2: 11-20
Tier 3: 21-30
...
Tier 10: 91-100
(etc)

Actresses with most recently viewed performances will have an advantage regarding freshness of impression, so to counter that advantage close calls will be in favour of older favourites -> it takes some effort to get into the list, and especially into top-100, but then the reward are those close-calls-decsions in future editions of the top-250 list.

So a fav-actress/eyecandy-ranking for the present/upcoming and not all-time or solely based on their acting abilities - more of a "how much can their presence and performance salvage an otherwise crap-movie, and how little do I care about reviews for their movies"-list, so a few favourites I haven't seen in a while are still in the running.

I've prefered to select still-images from a new'ish role, if a decent image is available - otherwise I've gone for a fresh event-picture, unless there's a recently'ish image too good to pass for this first edition.

How it was viewed:

binge = binge-watched in a few large bulks after that season was finished

ongoing = seen as fresh torrent episode-for-episode or in very small bulks of episodes through the season

binge / ongoing = catched up on the season in binge-watched before ongoing-viewed

ongoing / binge = checked out a few episodes before waiting to see about reviews, ratings, cancellation, renewed etc - and eventually binge-watched rest of the season
