First, there are several films that warrant a rating of 2 or less,
however, I really don't think this is one of them. With that being
said, even if you're a Tyler Perry fan, I don't see how you can give it
a 10. The film itself had the basic TP's ingredients from the rest of
his films, with a Hollywood ending added. There are some tear jerking
moments that tug on the emotional side and there's enough issues
sprinkled around that most people could relate to.
I thought the film was okay. Unfortunately, film-making has become a forgotten art. It's not that Tyler Perry films are as bad as the ratings may reflect ( in my opinion), it's just that they are simple and predictable. For the Tyler Perry fans, Mr. Perry's bank account, and lionsgate, that's "all good". You can't argue with the math.
